Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Dlugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piotr Dlugi struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws the left hand but Troeng avoids the punch easily.
Troeng looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Daniels lands with a good body shot.
Daniels closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Daniels is trying to work for a kimura but Troeng is defending well.
Daniels is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Troeng has managed to free his arm - good work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daniels connects with a nice short shot to Troeng's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Daniels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Troeng defends it well.

Daniels has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Troeng is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Daniels is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Troeng is just riding it out for now. Daniels eventually gives up the hold.

Daniels drops an elbow to the side of Troeng's head.
Daniels passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Troeng!

It looks like Tor Troeng has been cut.
Troeng is in a horrible position here. Daniels smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Troeng has left one of his arms exposed and Daniels doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Troeng screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

As Dennins Daniels got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: First Gladiator middleweight champion of the world! I kicked my opponents ass! I am the best! I am the best middleweight in the whole world! No one can competite with me! I am the greatest!'.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Brett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kingsman pulls his head out easily.
Kingsman is looking to take a break and control but Brett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Brett regains full guard. Nicely done.

Kingsman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brett's head.
Brett throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
