Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Carneiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Dlugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piotr Dlugi struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dlugi shoots in but Carneiro avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daniels connects with a nice short shot to Troeng's temple.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Tor Troeng has been cut.
Troeng is in a horrible position here. Daniels smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Troeng has left one of his arms exposed and Daniels doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Troeng screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingsman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Brett is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kingsman pulls his head out easily.
Kingsman is looking to take a break and control but Brett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brett wants to get back to full guard.
Brett regains full guard. Nicely done.

Brett looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kingsman keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brett's head.
Brett throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kingsman's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Brett looking for a triangle here. Kingsman is fighting it but it looks tight! Brett pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kingsman is tapping out - this one is all over!
