The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pico closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Pico drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Pico off! Pico jumps back into Jones's guard. Jones keeping full guard, as Pico tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to hit a switch here but Pico passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jones there!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pico is working for a guillotine from mount but Jones frees his head quite easily.
Pico has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Jones is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Marti Pico! After the fight, Marti Pico was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Putkimies. A momentary lapse in concentration from Putkimies enables Person to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Putkimies manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Person trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Person showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Putkimies on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Putkimies tries to get out of the position. Person works a leg free and moves into half guard. Still in half guard, Person seems content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Putkimies trying to hold on to Person's head to control him but Person postures up.
Person passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Putkimies! Putkimies is looking to improve his position but Person isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Person controlling the position easily from mount. Putkimies can't escape the position.
Person tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Putkimies is looking to get to half guard. Person controlling his opponent. Let's hope that Person has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Person might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Very Important Person wasn't active enough on the ground. Putkimies throws a sloppy head kick and Person moves out of range easily. Putkimies fails with an attempt to clinch.
Putkimies throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Person. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Putkimies has closed the distance and engaged Person in a clinch.
Person is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Person is working for takedown but Putkimies is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Putkimies breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Good leg kick by Putkimies there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Putkimies fails to land the takedown. Putkimies misses with a takedown so Person counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Voitto Putkimies. That's going to take a lot out of him. Putkimies is breathing heavily. Person prevents Putkimies from getting back to his feet. Person not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Person passes easily into side control. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Person lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Putkimies down.
Person controls the position from side control. You can see the frustration on Putkimies's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Putkimies is trying to improve his position. Person advances to mount. Person controlling his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Person lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Person fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Person fails to land the takedown. Putkimies misses with a two punch combination.
Putkimies throws a series of punches but Person avoids them all with ease. Putkimies misses with a takedown attempt - Person sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nice takedown defense from Putkimies. No joy for Person on that attempt. Voitto Putkimies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Very Important Person. Putkimies slaps away a takedown attempt from Person, before circling back to the center of the mat. Putkimies tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Putkimies tries to close the distance and clinch but Person swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Person leaves Putkimies with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Putkimies fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Person sprawls well initially but Putkimies persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Putkimies seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Person is trying is best to control the position here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Person slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Person has Putkimies pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Very Important Person. Putkimies closes the distance looking to clinch so Person counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Person is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Putkimies with a poor takedown and Person counters with a straight right hand. Person shoots in for a takedown but Putkimies shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Person changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Putkimies tries to avoid it but Person manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Putkimies to the ground. Putkimies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Person. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Putkimies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Person circles away. Person shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Putkimies as he jumps to the side. Person tries for a takedown but Putkimies sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Putkimies scores with a kick to the midsection. Person will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Putkimies fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Person, pushing him back against the cage. Putkimies has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Person is trying to keep an underhook but Putkimies manages to get the takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Person makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Person. Putkimies trying to control but Person is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Person will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Very Important Person showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Person seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Person wants to work for an arm triangle but Putkimies is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Person fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Putkimies avoids it really well and circles away. Voitto Putkimies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Very Important Person. Person will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Voitto Putkimies has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Very Important Person is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Person fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Lucky escape for Smith because Boy loaded up on that one. Boy misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mclean moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hunt is rocked! Mclean circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Hunt to the canvas! Hunt doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Mclean keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Jontop throws a series of punches but Krozz moves out of range. Krozz throws a leg kick but Jontop sees it coming and checks it nicely. Jontop moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jontop! Krozz is out on his feet! Jontop rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Krozz is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Krozz is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sau Yee clobbers Draft with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Sau Yee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Draft. Draft misses with a shot to the body and Sau Yee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Draft jabs Sau Yee to the body, keeping him at a distance. Draft shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sau Yee's guard. Draft trying to control the position from guard on top but Sau Yee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Draft wants to pass the guard but Sau Yee is keeping the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Draft postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Sau Yee is trying to keep Draft in close.

Mandragoran throws a series of punches but Dishonor avoids them all with ease. Dishonor looks to throw the jab but Mandragoran is out of range. Mandragoran looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Mandragoran stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mandragoran wants it to stay on the feet. Mandragoran drives through and clinches with Dishonor against the cage.
