1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Pettis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Clay! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pettis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Clay's head. Clay looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Clay slips a jab and a cross from Pettis.
A combination from Pettis does no damage. Pettis lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Clay slaps away a takedown attempt from Pettis, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pettis looks for a takedown but Clay sprawls well. Clay takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Clay looks to land a body kick but Pettis moved away. Pettis shoots in for a takedown but Clay shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Pettis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pettis misses with a kick to the body.

Pettis tries to move into range but Clay moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Pettis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clay defends it nicely. Clay crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Pettis - the referee stops the clock and Clay gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Pettis. Clay manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Nice takedown defense from Clay. No joy for Pettis on that attempt. Clay throws a head kick that misses. Pettis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jake Pettis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pettis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clay tries to avoid it but Pettis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clay to the ground. Clay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No luck for Pettis with that takedown attempt. Clay thows a body kick. Pettis tries to catch it but that hurt him. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pettis. Clay shrugs it off though. Pettis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Clay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pettis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pettis throws a right and a left that both miss. Clay avoids the head kick by Pettis.

Pettis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Clay's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Torosian stalks Hughes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hughes's face. Hughes staggers backwards, shaken.

Torosian uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hughes. Hughes takes one to the chin there. This has been an exciting period of action! Hughes swings widly with a right hand
and Torosian counters with a crisp one two that drops Hughes! Torosian thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hughes to his feet! Hughes is in big trouble!
Hughes is rocked! Torosian throws a series of punches but Hughes moves out of range. Oh Hughes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hughes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Yamamoto is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bermaia will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Yamamoto wants to control but Bermaia is keeping him busy. Bermaia is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Yamamoto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bermaia on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yamamoto is keen to just control but Bermaia is a slippery customer. Misuaksual Bermaia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yuki Yamamoto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Khaiseb tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murray swats him away and circles back towards the center. Murray throws a sloppy head kick and Khaiseb moves out of range easily. Murray rushes Khaiseb and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Khaiseb just misses with a elbow thrown towards Murray's brow. Murray blocks the elbow strike.
Murray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Khaiseb walks away with a smile on his face. Murray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Murray closes the distance and pushes Khaiseb back into the cage. Murray dodges an elbow strike from Khaiseb.
Khaiseb looks to throw an elbow but misses. Murray decides to pull guard. Khaiseb loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Murray seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. This has been an exciting period of action! Khaiseb throws a big right hand that misses. That was a close round but I would say that Levis Khaiseb will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Murray lands with a cross. Murray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Khaiseb was well out of range. Poor timing from Murray. Murray takes a swing at Khaiseb's ribcage but misses. Murray throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Khaiseb tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Murray forces Khaiseb back against the cage and clinches. This has been an exciting period of action! Murray lands a body shot in the clinch.

Murray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Levis Khaiseb has been cut. Khaiseb takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Khaiseb moves to clinch but Murray breaks away and Murray makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Murray feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Khaiseb's calf. This has been an exciting period of action! Khaiseb on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Murray lands with a shot to the body. Murray scores with a body shot.
Murray digs a good body shot into Khaiseb's ribs. Murray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Khaiseb has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Murray connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A shot to the liver by Murray. Beautiful body shot. Khaiseb uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Murray.
Khaiseb walks into a stiff left hand from Murray. Khaiseb takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Khaiseb is rocked! Murray ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Oh Khaiseb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Murray cracks the inside of Khaiseb's front leg. Khaiseb is aggressively charging in as Murray backs up avoiding any damage. Murray tosses out a jab and Khaiseb runs right into it face first! Khaiseb is out cold! Murray dropped down on all fours and is barking in Khaiseb's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
