2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kenneth Sullivan! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan closes the distance and clinches. Sullivan can't break the clinch.

Ambush has Sullivan pressed against the cage, preventing Sullivan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sullivan working aggressively here.
Ambush manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Sullivan scores with an uppercut up the middle. Sullivan working hard to break the clinch. Sullivan lands a shot to the body. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sullivan. Sullivan lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ambush gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ambush looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Sullivan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ambush scores with a couple of nice shots. Sullivan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ambush. Sullivan is trying to stand up here but Ambush is controlling him well. Ambush not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ambush controlling the pace. Ambush throwing shots but Sullivan is blocking nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sullivan is not content to let Ambush control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ambush in particular looking to stall. Ambush working the head and body with strikes. Ambush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sullivan has hold of Ambush's hands but Ambush slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ambush missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sullivan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ambush. Ambush is taking a breather. Sullivan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ambush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ambush slips a nice elbow through Sullivan's hands, connecting with Sullivan's forehead. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ambush in particular looking to stall. Ambush wants to control but Sullivan is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ambush working Sullivan over with strikes. Ambush scoring with strikes to the body and head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ambush connects with a nice short shot to Sullivan's temple. Ambush looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ambush working Sullivan over with strikes. Sullivan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ambush scores with a couple of nice shots. Ambush not landing any meaningful shots this time. Ambush scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Ambush passes to side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ambush is chipping away with strikes.
Sullivan is rocked! Ambush lands an elbow. Sullivan is still in real trouble! Can Ambush finish him? Ambush lands a few punches from side control. Ambush lands a strong strike to the head of Sullivan. That's dazed him! Ambush looking to finish here. Sullivan is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Ambush lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dean Ambush! In his post fight interview, Dean Ambush started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Jamerson moves into the clinch. A short uppercut from Jamerson. Jamerson lands a hook to the side of the head. Wallace is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wallace tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jamerson's elbow. Wallace can't break the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jamerson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wallace stalling in the clinch but Jamerson improves position. Jamerson blocking some punches.
Wallace throws a punch but it's blocked by Jamerson. Wallace fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Jamerson let out a lung full of air as it connected. A battle for position here, against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Wallace wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jamerson has him pressed against the cage. Jamerson digs a right hand into Wallace's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wallace's gas tank. Jamerson presses Wallace against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jamerson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A frustrated look appears on Wallace's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wallace misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jamerson scores with a nice hook to the head. Wallace wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wallace can't break the clinch.
Jamerson is pushing Wallace up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Wallace prevents a body shot from Jamerson. Jamerson is stalling here.

Jamerson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Jamerson lands a right hand. Jamerson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Jamerson lands an uppercut. A right hook to the body lands for Jamerson.
A nice right hand lands inside from Jamerson. Jamerson lands a right hand. Jamerson pushes Wallace back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Still in the clinch, Jamerson scores with a nice short uppercut. A short left from Jamerson.
Wallace is rocked! Jamerson digs a right hand underneath Wallace's ribcage. Wallace let out a lung full of air as it connected. Wallace is still on wobbly legs! Can Jamerson finish him? A nice right hand lands inside from Jamerson. Jamerson scores with a shot to the side of Wallace's head. Jamerson throws a big uppercut that drops Wallace! More strikes from Jamerson and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wallace lies dazed against the cage as Jamerson celebrates with his cornermen!
