The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Mens misses the target.
Mens lands a right hook to the body.
Mens throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kickapoo on the side of the head.
Mens uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kickapoo has time to react.
Mens looks to land a right hand but Kickapoo moved out of range.

Mens gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kickapoo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Kickapoo stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Mens has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Kickapoo manages to get his head free but now Mens has transitioned to an armbar! Kickapoo grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Mens! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoss tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoss to the ground. Hoss escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
