The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Show fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Douglas manages to avoid it.
Show wants to clinch but Douglas slips to the side
and Douglas counters with a nice leg kick.

Show feints and as Douglas raises his hands in defense, Show changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Show trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Show wants to control from the top but Douglas keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Douglas is pulling down on Show's head. It's preventing any offense from Show, at least for the moment.

Show is sitting in close to Douglas's body. Douglas has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Show is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Show is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Douglas.

Te Rua lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Axe is fighting off a takedown attempt but Te Rua is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Axe to the mat. Axe regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aaron Knight had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Moo lands a jab to the nose.
Knight looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Moo moves into the clinch.

Moo pulls guard successfully.

Knight drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Knight jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Knight drops back looking for a leg! Moo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moo manages to kick Knight off! Knight jumps back into Moo's guard.

Moo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knight can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Knight wants to pass the guard but Moo is keeping the position.
Moo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Knight's guard.
Moo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knight swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Knight looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Moo has picked Knight up and slammed him! Knight can't keep hold of the triangle and Moo manages to pass to side control!
Moo is looking to take a break and control but Knight is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Knight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Moo tries for a kimura but Knight is defending well.

Kennedy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Redshaw tries to avoid it but Kennedy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Redshaw to the ground. Redshaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kennedy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Redshaw pinned against the cage. Redshaw gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
