The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karlos Mendieta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Shipman. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Steel Penn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bla has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Bla shoots in looking for a takedown but Steel Penn manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bla's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bla looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Steel Penn throws a head kick that Bla semi-blocks.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bla takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Steel Penn lands a big head kick that sends Bla tumbling to the mat! Steel Penn takes a step backwards and waves Bla back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Bla Bla's cut even more.
Steel Penn thuds his shin into the meat of Bla's side.
The fighters circle, before Steel Penn throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bla's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Steel Penn lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Miller is fighting off a takedown attempt but Copout is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Miller to the mat. Miller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Copout circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Miller to the canvas! Miller doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Copout keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cro Copout!
Cro Copout decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
