The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Fang.
Fang pushes Ames up against the cage in a clinch. Fang lands on the inside with an uppercut. Fang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A nice combination there by Fang.
Ames closes the distance and clinches. Fang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ames has Fang pressed against the cage.

Fang is trying to push Ames away but Ames has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fang is pressed up against the cage. Fang looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ames stands up over Fang, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ames passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ames tries to move to mount but Fang blocks the move with his legs. Ames takes a little break here. Fang wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Ames is chipping away with strikes.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fang can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ames has knee on belly and moves into mount. Fang is working to get back to half guard.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Fang. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Ames manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fang enables Ames to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Ames wants to control from the top but Fang keeps moving. Ames passes Fang's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ames wants to pass the guard but Fang is defending well.

Fang can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ames controls the pace. Ames trying to control the position from guard on top but Fang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

It's a sloppy attempt though and Ames jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ames passes Fang's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ames is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fang is just riding it out for now. Ames eventually gives up the hold. Fang is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ames controlling the action here. Jensen Ames has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! White Fang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jensen Ames overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ames moves nicely into side control.

King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Recksun's guard. Recksun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him. Hugh Recksun is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sloppy strikes from Recksun. Those never looked like landing. King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Recksun's waist but Recksun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing King off to one side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King throws a lazy body kick and Recksun counters with a head kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Recksun throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily. Armor King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Recksun's corner calls for a 1-2. Recksun obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vice misses with a leg kick and Liu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Liu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Liu wants to control from the top but Vice keeps moving. Liu drops back looking for a leg! Vice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vice manages to kick Liu off! Liu jumps back into Vice's guard. Vice is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Liu has his hands clasped together but Vice extends and breaks Liu 's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Vice.

Shooter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Avenger Of Steel Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel Penn takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Six Shooter has been cut. Shooter looks to clinch and Steel Penn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Steel Penn throws the kick towards the body but Shooter avoids it. Steel Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
Shooter wants to clinch and Shooter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steel Penn cracks the inside of Shooter's front leg. Shooter is looking to control Steel Penn's arms but Steel Penn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Shooter has his back to the cage. Steel Penn working hard to break the clinch. Steel Penn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Steel Penn breaks the clinch.
Shooter takes the fight into the clinch. Shooter jumps guard and drags Steel Penn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Shooter throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steel Penn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steel Penn wants to stand but Shooter has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Steel Penn preventing the sweep. Steel Penn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shooter on the ground.

Steel Penn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shooter. Steel Penn decides to stand back up. That sent Shooter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Steel Penn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Shooter.

Shooter falls to his knees and Steel Penn doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Gracie keeps control of Ferrigno as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gracie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ferrigno gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ferrigno has had enough of the clinch but Gracie keeps him there for the moment. Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Ferrigno pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

It looks like Coalman Gracie has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferrigno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Ferrigno tries to break free but Gracie pushes him back against the cage. Ferrigno is trying to push Gracie away but Gracie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ferrigno prevents a takedown attempt there.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferrigno does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ferrigno taking some punishment here, with Gracie in his half guard. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ferrigno wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie lands a big shot there that rocks Ferrigno but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ferrigno tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control. Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gracie connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferrigno is trying desperately to improve position.

Ferrigno is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ferrigno is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gracie landing shots from mount. Ferrigno sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gracie trying to control the action but Ferrigno is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ferrigno is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Coalman Gracie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Coalman Gracie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Oh snap! He's tossed Ferrigno clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Gracie is landing with strikes. Ferrigno can't take much more of this. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ferrigno is in bad spot here.

Gracie drives through and clinches with Ferrigno against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ferrigno is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control.

Smithwick tries to close the distance and clinch but Bla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Smithwick gets caught napping as Bla dives in and scores a takedown. Smithwick manages to retain guard. Bla throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bla passes Smithwick's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Kelly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Copout under the eye. Kelly throws an overhand right that has Copout reeling! Kelly follows up with more punches and Copout is out cold! This one is all over!
