 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Rooyen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. De Lima quickly recovers to half guard. Van Rooyen trying to control from De Lima's half guard. De Lima has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Brawler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Brawler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brawler's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brawler duly obliges. Brawler stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
 The cut above Hugh Recksun's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Brawler scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Recksun tries a head kick but it misses.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrenton takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Walker paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Wrenton throws a nice inside leg kick. Wrenton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Walker's calf. Wrenton throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily. Wrenton throws a leg kick that misses. Wrenton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wrenton takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. This has been an exciting period of action! Walker checks a leg kick. Walker takes a kick to the side of the head.
 It looks like Johny Walker has been cut. Walker scores with a hook to the body. Wrenton takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wrenton misses with a head kick.

Sheldon lands with a straight right. Ali didn't see that one coming. Sheldon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ali throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sheldon throws a hook but Ali blocks it. Sheldon misses with the combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sheldon throws a one two combo.

Ali eats them both and turns towards Sheldon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Copout tries to throw a body punch but Lei avoids it by throwing Copout back against the cage. Copout struggles to land a body shot inside as Lei controls his hands.
