The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dimanche jabs Da Silva right on the nose. Da Silva blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Santiago Da Silva has been cut. Da Silva closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Dimanche's guard. Da Silva avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dimanche is trying to control the position but Da Silva postures up. Da Silva connects with a couple of short punches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Da Silva looking to pass the guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Utu lands a body shot.
King shoots in looking for a takedown but Utu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing King's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. King is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. King needs to keep his hands up - Utu had a free shot at his head there. Utu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and King is able to avoid easily. King dodges the punch combination from Utu.
Utu wants to land a leg kick but King is out of range. King looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Utu clinches. Good body shot from Utu.
This has been an exciting period of action! Utu lands with a short head shot on the inside. King avoids a wild elbow strike from Utu. Utu tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Utu manages to break the clinch.

King shoots for a takedown but Utu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rau Utu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Utu misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
King closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Utu did well to prevent King getting side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King is looking for a kimura but Utu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for King to get the leverage. King throwing shots but Utu is blocking nicely. Utu is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. King passes to full mount!

King thowing shots but they're missing. King misses with a head shot. King tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. King landing strikes from the mount and Utu is in trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Utu blocking the ground and pound. King working the ground and pound effectively.

King throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Utu because King loaded up on that one. Utu wants to hold on but King pushes him away. Utu's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Utu avoids a series of strikes thrown by King.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. BOOM! King connects with a massive shot to the dome!
King fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Rau Utu has been cut. King has hold of Utu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Utu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
King has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Utu's face.

Bako King decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nelson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

HighLife is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sole keeping moving, preventing HighLife from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacks Sole will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storm ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Vernon moves in looking to clinch but Storm pushes him off. Vernon scores with a body shot.
Vernon moves away from the strike by Storm. Vernon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Vernon throws a body punch but Storm moves out of range. Vernon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Storm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Storm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vernon's head backwards. Vernon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Vernon moves into the clinch. Still in the clinch, Storm scores with a nice short uppercut. Vernon is looking to control Storm's arms but Storm gets an underhook and turns him. Now Vernon has his back to the cage. Storm lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sullivan IV feints and then cracks Duarte's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duarte down. Duarte shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sullivan IV sprawls well. Sullivan IV wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Duarte gets slowly back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Sullivan IV. Sullivan IV digs a good body shot into Duarte's ribs. Duarte lands a right hook to the body.
