The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munke uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Miric misses with a few strikes there.
Munke connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Miric momentarily.
Donk. Miric catches Munke right on the button with a cross. Daryl Munke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Munke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Munke jabs Miric to the body, keeping him at a distance. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miric thows a body shot but no joy. Munke misses the shot to the body. Some wild striking there from Miric.
Munke smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Munke tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Miric was well out of range. Poor timing from Munke. Miric throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Miric throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Munke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. A combination from Munke does no damage. Miric shoots in for a takedown but Munke shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Miric fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Munke throws a right and a left that both miss. Miric uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Munke.

and Miric counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Miric misses with a straight right. Miric gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Munke scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Miric doesn't seem bothered though. Munke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Munke lands with an overhand left. Munke is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Miric rather than just go for the knockout. This has been an exciting period of action! Munke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Munke wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Munke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miric manages to avoid it. Munke swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miric has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Munke is looking to clinch. Munke gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miric postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Miric in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Miric pushes down on Munke's leg and manages to get into half guard. Miric not landing any meaningful shots this time. Munke tries to kick Miric off but Miric keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Miric not landing any meaningful shots this time. Miric trying to control the pace. Miric sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Munke defending well though.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goutzioulis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hopkins sprawls well initially but Goutzioulis persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hopkins wants to get back to his feet. Goutzioulis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Goutzioulis slips a nice elbow through Hopkins's hands, connecting with Hopkins's forehead. Hopkins tries to roll over but Goutzioulis keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Goutzioulis working over Hopkins with some ground and pound. Hopkins looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Hopkins wants to improve his position but Goutzioulis is controlling well.

Dredd closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dredd lands in his opponent's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Dredd thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dredd is looking to work some ground and pound but Krizbaduhl has wrist control. Dredd trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Dredd is in close to Krizbaduhl's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dredd throwing strikes from guard but Krizbaduhl blocks nicely. Krizbaduhl has a closed guard, preventing Dredd from standing up. Dredd drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dredd jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A slapping body kick lands there for Krizbaduhl. Krizbaduhl's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dredd connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Krizbaduhl scrambles back to his feet. Krizbaduhl thows a body kick. Dredd tries to catch it but that hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Krizbaduhl cracks the inside of Dredd's front leg. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dredd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Krizbaduhl - the referee stops the clock and Dredd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Krizbaduhl. Dredd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Dredd is breathing heavily. Krizbaduhl goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Krizbaduhl fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dredd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Krizbaduhl lands a jab-cross combination. A head kick misses from Krizbaduhl. A jab from Krizbaduhl finds it's way through Dredd's defenses. Krizbaduhl bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dredd chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Krizbaduhl can pounce on him.
Krizbaduhl scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Dredd takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Dredd throws a big shot that misses. Krizbaduhl scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Krizbaduhl lands with an uppercut that bounces Dredd off the cage and back into range. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Krizbaduhl.
Krizbaduhl scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dredd will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Krizbaduhl lands a big head kick that sends Dredd tumbling to the mat! Krizbaduhl takes a step backwards and waves Dredd back to his feet - he wants the finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Judah Krizbaduhl dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Krizbaduhl works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Krizbaduhl fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dredd looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Krizbaduhl clobbers Dredd with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Krizbaduhl fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dredd has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. This has been an exciting period of action! Krizbaduhl misses with a two punch combination.
Dredd fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Krizbaduhl lands a right hook to the body.

Dredd takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dredd takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Will he be able to recover?!! Judah Krizbaduhl seems to be getting the better of the standup. OH! Dredd has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Krizbaduhl smells blood and charges in for the finish! Krizbaduhl unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Dredd sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shiro fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Vanneia on the side of the head. Shiro pushes Vanneia away with a front kick. Vanneia shoots for a double leg takedown but Shiro sprawls well. He's pushed Vanneia's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Vanneia is breathing heavily. Vanneia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shiro. Shiro obviously looking to wear him down.
Vanneia stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shiro. Shiro scores with a jab. Vanneia acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Shiro lands a jab to Vanneia's midsection. Vanneia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shiro avoids it really well and circles away. Shiro lands a head kick. Vanneia smiles back at him and beckons him forward. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice body kick from Shiro. Miso Shiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vanneia walks forward, straight into a front kick from Shiro. A left lands for Shiro. Vanneia has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Shiro. Vanneia circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shiro wants to clinch up but Vanneia keeps it at a distance. Shiro lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A chopping leg kick lands by Shiro. Shiro circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Vanneia to the canvas! Vanneia doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shiro keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cotes misses with a straight right. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ruggiero.

and Ruggiero counters with a big head kick but Cotes shrugs it off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ruggiero slips under a jab from Cotes. Ruggiero tries to clinch but Cotes is having none of it. Cotes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cotes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ruggiero's head backwards. Ruggiero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ruggiero throws a head kick but Cotes moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ruggiero lands an overhand right. Cotes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ruggiero connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Ruggiero lands a big head kick that sends Cotes tumbling to the mat! Ruggiero takes a step backwards and waves Cotes back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cotes is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ruggiero feints a jab and as Cotes dips his head, Ruggiero unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Cotes right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Cotes falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ruggiero smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Champ throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Killer's waist but Killer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Champ off to one side. Champ takes one on the button. Killer scores with a jab. Champ acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Champ takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Champ tries to score a power double leg takedown but Killer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Champ somewhat. Killer stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tourney Champ. That's going to take a lot out of him. Killer lands a head kick. Champ smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Tourney Champ has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Killer lands with a slapping head kick. Killer closes the distance and clinches. Killer working aggressively here.

Champ is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Killer is pressed up against the cage. Champ has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Killer down to the mat. Killer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Killer scores with a head kick.

Champ is rocked! A head kick by Killer - that's a beauty! Champ is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Killer can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Colt tries to advance to mount but can't. Colt goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lucas rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Colt's guard! Nice work there by Lucas! Colt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lucas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colt wants to improve his position but instead Lucas has moved into half guard.
Lucas is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Colt has managed to free his arm - good work. Lucas thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Colt is not content to let Lucas control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colt trying to control but Lucas postures up.
Colt tries to roll over but Lucas keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Colt gets full guard. Lucas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Colt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Colt looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lucas has picked Colt up and slammed him! Colt can't keep hold of the triangle and Lucas manages to pass to side control!

Lucas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Colt drives through with a takedown into Lucas's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Lucas looking to control.

Roman Colt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lucas passes to full mount! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lucas throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Colt because Lucas loaded up on that one. Colt wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Roman Colt will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
