The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vlad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vlad looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A combination from Vlad does no damage. Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Vlad swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vlad closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Harris's guard. Harris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vlad might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris trying to control the position.
Harris is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Vlad has his hands clasped together but Harris extends an breaks Vlad's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Harris.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Eklundh has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Eklundh looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Eklundh gets caught napping as Long dives in and scores a takedown. Eklundh manages to retain guard. Long controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Long landing with the ground and pound. Long keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Eklundh 's head. Long slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Let's hope that Long has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Byron Long wasn't active enough on the ground. Long closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Long lands in his opponent's guard. Eklundh has momentary wrist control but Long slips an elbow through the middle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Long controlling from the top position. Long has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Byron Long was stalling too much, according to the referee. Long misses with a kick to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Long looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Long slips nicely into half guard. Long lands with a punch from half guard. Long works his foot free and advances to mount. Long working Eklundh over with strikes here. Long landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Long with shots to the head and body - Eklundh looks very uncomfortable down there. Long lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Long looking to finish Eklundh with some ground and pound. This is bad for Eklundh ! Eklundh takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Eklundh is rocked! Long raining down shots from the mount! Oh Eklundh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Long lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Long controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Long has isolated one of Eklundh 's arms. Eklundh looking to fight him off but Long twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Byron Long! After the fight, Byron Long was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos tries to clinch up and Chuteboxe counters with a body kick that stops Dos Santos in his tracks momentarily. Dos Santos tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Chuteboxe counters with a body kick that stops Dos Santos in his tracks momentarily. Dos Santos is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick misses from Chuteboxe. Chuteboxe throws a nice looking combination but Dos Santos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chuteboxe sprawls well. Chuteboxe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dos Santos gets slowly back to his feet. Chuteboxe sizes up Dos Santos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Chuteboxe throws a right hand that Dos Santos ducks under and follows up with a left that Dos Santos also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chuteboxe connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Dos Santos to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Chuteboxe!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Santos looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Santos is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard. Silva is taking a breather. Santos says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Santos is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.

That was a bit too telegraphed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Erick Silva will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Jorge Santos's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Santos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Silva tries for a takedown but Santos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Balare has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Macena is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Macena is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Balare.
