The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dela Cruz missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Dela Cruz scores with a body shot.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Dela Cruz. Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dela Cruz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Dela Cruz throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dela Cruz scores with a nice strike. Good exchange - Dela Cruz coming out on top. Dela Cruz works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Dela Cruz is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Dela Cruz throws a hook but Smith blocks it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saksono throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Butic. Saksono decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Butic works his way to full guard. Good work. Saksono throws a strike but Butic rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Butic wants to control from the top but Saksono keeps moving. Saksono tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Branko Butic just wasn't active enough. Butic shoots in for a double leg but Saksono sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A momentary lapse in concentration from Butic enables Saksono to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Butic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Saksono decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Butic, up you get! Butic closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saksono's guard. Butic trying to control but Saksono is working from the bottom.

Mcbride tries for a takedown but Ratliff circles away easily enabling Ratliff to counter with a crisp jab. Mcbride on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Simon Mcbride seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ratliff scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Ratliff misses with the combination.
Mcbride shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mcbride takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Nice body punch from Ratliff.
