The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cardoso throws a head kick that misses. Cardoso forces Pepperwood back against the cage and clinches. Pepperwood prevents a body shot from Cardoso. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Cardoso. Cardoso lands a hook to the side of the head. Pepperwood takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Julius Pepperwood has been cut. Cardoso dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Cardoso gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pepperwood has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cardoso is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pepperwood yanks on the arm and Cardoso is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it. Harris blocks a head kick by Carter.
Carter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harris shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Harris passes the guard and advances to mount! Harris has hold of Carter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Harris unloading with bombs! This has been an exciting period of action! Harris scoring with strikes but Carter is staying in there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris with shots to the head and body - Carter looks very uncomfortable down there. Harris throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Harris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Carter is surviving well by controlling Harris's body position as best he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Carter's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diggler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Mitchell on his heels. He'll look to pass Mitchell's guard now, I'm sure. Diggler prevents Mitchell from getting back to his feet. Mitchell is working an open guard so Diggler takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Diggler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mitchell counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mitchell. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mitchell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diggler looking to control.
Mitchell won't allow Diggler to sweep him here. Diggler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mitchell manages to get himself to full guard.
Diggler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mitchell is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Diggler, into his guard.

Diggler is breathing heavily. Mitchell with a flurry of punches that miss. Mitchell throwing strikes from guard but Diggler blocks nicely. Mitchell postures up in Diggler's guard and throws a big left but Diggler blocks it.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diggler has escaped the position, nice work there. The referee asks Mitchell politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mitchell prefers to stall for the moment though.

Diggler didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mitchell is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mitchell hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! VandammeChuck thuds his right hand into Hard's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. VandammeChuck connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Hard momentarily.

VandammeChuck punishes Hard's body with a nice straight punch. Good exchange - VandammeChuck coming out on top. VandammeChuck fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hard takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. VandammeChuck scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Hard shoots in for a takedown but VandammeChuck shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. VandammeChuck paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. VandammeChuck has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. VandammeChuck lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice cross by VandammeChuck. VandammeChuck leaves Hard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hard ducks right into an uppercut from VandammeChuck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Potter misses. Potter shoots in for a takedown but Coach shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Coach decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Coach stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Potter to get to his feet. Potter takes a swing at Coach's ribcage but misses. Potter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Coach circles away. Potter drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A slapping leg kick lands for Coach.

Potter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coach tries to avoid it but Potter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coach to the ground. Coach escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Coach throws a combination. Potter tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Potter takes a jab right on the kisser.
Coach has Potter up against the cage in a clinch.
Coach lands a hook that snaps the head of Potter backwards. Coach unloads a knee to the mid-section. Coach gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Coach throwing strikes but missing. Coach is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Coach stands up over Potter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Coach manages to pass to side control. Potter taking some punishment here, with Coach in his half guard. Potter scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Coach manages to mount him!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaxx displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Jaxx throws a right and a left that McGobblecock avoids nicely. McGobblecock scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. McGobblecock wants to control but Jaxx is keeping him busy. Jaxx wants to control but McGobblecock postures up. McGobblecock tries to advance to mount but Jaxx denies him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
