5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ezekio Rubblesnaph! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aue's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Aue duly obliges. Aue swinging wildly here.
Aue throws a right and a left that both miss. Aue clinches. Aue jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rubblesnaph walks away with a smile on his face. Aue gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dojin Aue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rubblesnaph looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Rubblesnaph tries to clinch but Aue moves out of range. Rubblesnaph doesn't manage to clinch there - Aue circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Left hook, right uppercut from Rubblesnaph. Aue throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Aue tries to clinch up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rubblesnaph shoots in for a takedown but Aue shows good takedown defense. Aue misses with a wild combination.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Rubblesnaph tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Aue enables Rubblesnaph to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aue manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Aue keeping moving, preventing Rubblesnaph from controlling successfully. Aue is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Rubblesnaph dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ezekio Rubblesnaph has got the better of the ground game so far. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Aue is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rubblesnaph controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oh, Kutts is hurt - Hitman dives into side control looking to finish!

Not this time though. Kutts is pressing down on Hitman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hitman is looking to stand up but Kutts won't let him. Hitman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kutts on the ground. Hitman preventing the sweep. Hitman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kutts is proving hard to escape from. Christian misses with a takedown attempt - Smith sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cappy Christian. That's going to take a lot out of him. Christian moves into the clinch successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dooley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Szymkowiak, pushing him back against the cage. Dooley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Szymkowiak circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Piotr Szymkowiak has been cut. Dooley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dooley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dooley misses with an uppercut. Szymkowiak saw that one coming. Dooley gets a double leg takedown into Szymkowiak's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Szymkowiak is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dooley rolls with it to try and escape but Szymkowiak cranks on the arm and Dooley is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watermelon slips a jab and a cross from Lockyer.
Watermelon misses with a few strikes there.
Phil Watermelon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Lockyer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Watermelon shoots and misses and Lockyer cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Watermelon shoots in for a double leg but Lockyer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lockyer misses with an uppercut. Watermelon saw that one coming. Lockyer checks a leg kick. Lockyer's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lockyer duly obliges.
It looks like Phil Watermelon has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Watermelon throws a lazy right hand but Lockyer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lockyer jabbing away but nothing is landing. Lockyer lunges at Watermelon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Watermelon's hand.
Watermelon is rocked! Lockyer catches Watermelon with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Watermelon forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Darren Lockyer! In his post fight interview, Darren Lockyer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirty throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. No joy there for Dirty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dirty defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anstey. Dirty misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dirty throws the left hand but Anstey avoids the punch easily. Joe Dirty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anstey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dirty. Nice defenses there by Anstey. No luck with that takedown attempt from Anstey. A punch lands to the side of Anstey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Bunny Anstey has been cut. Dirty fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Anstey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dirty lands with a hook. Anstey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirty lands a big right hand that sends Anstey crashing to the mat! Dirty stays standing though and waves Anstey back to his feet! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anstey moves out of range as Dirty strikes. Joe Dirty is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sloppy strikes from Anstey. Those never looked like landing. Anstey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dirty swivels and escapes. Joe Dirty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bunny Anstey. Anstey slips under a jab. A jab from Dirty misses. A punch combination from Dirty misses. No joy there for Dirty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Anstey keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dirty. Nice sprawl there from Dirty as Anstey shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anstey darts in and clinches Dirty up against the cage. Anstey tries to break free but Dirty pushes him back against the cage. Anstey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dirty lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That has opened up Bunny Anstey's cut even more. Dirty doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Dirty works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Dirty lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Anstey backwards. A short body shot lands from Dirty as the two fighters clinch.
Dirty is pushing Anstey up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Dirty lands with a left to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirty misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Anstey is trying to push Dirty away but Dirty has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Dirty stalling the fight.
A shot in the inside from Dirty. A nice right hand lands inside from Dirty. Dirty tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Dirty lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Anstey backwards.
The cut above Bunny Anstey's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Dirty misses with a hook to the ribs.
Nice body punch from Dirty - that landed with a thud.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirty manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Dirty pushes Anstey back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Dirty misses with a punch on the inside.
Dirty doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Anstey blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Anstey wants to break free but Dirty has control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dirty lands with a light punch inside. Dirty keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Anstey's efforts to push away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Dirty dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bunny Anstey's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice jab there from Dirty. Dirty will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Dirty misses. Dirty slaps away a takedown attempt from Anstey, before circling back to the center of the mat. Dirty is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Dirty lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Anstey is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dirty is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Anstey. Dirty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dirty is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anstey can do to turn this around? Dirty tests Anstey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bunny Anstey's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dirty throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dirty just misses with a punch to the body.
Anstey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dirty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anstey manages to avoid it. Anstey slips a jab from Dirty. Dirty fails in his attempt to clinch. Dirty throws a nice looking combination but Anstey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dirty swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Joe Dirty is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dirty closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dirty scores with a shoulder strike. Dirty controlling the action here for a moment.
Anstey is trying to break free. A frustrated look appears on Anstey's face as he tries to break the clinch. A short right from Dirty. Dirty lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bunny Anstey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
