Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teste Torneio!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain misses with a hook.
Torneio misses with the combination.
Pain keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torneio is defended easily by Pain.
Pain throws a shot from downtown. Torneio moves away and avoids it.
No joy there for Torneio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Torneio sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Torneio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pain pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pain tries to bum rush Torneio with a series of wild strikes but Torneio uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Torneio wants to clinch.
Teste Torneio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain leaves Torneio with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Torneio shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pain sprawls well. Pain wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Torneio gets slowly back to his feet.
Tixarian Pain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teste Torneio.

Didriksson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Farha bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Didriksson's head backwards.
Farha ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Didriksson moves away.
Didriksson moves out of range of the strikes.
Farha getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Farha moves into range and clinches up with Didriksson.

Farha lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Didriksson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Sammy Farha will probably get the nod.

Farha is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Didriksson is controlling him.

Didriksson has gone for a leg lock! Farha slips out almost immediately though and dives into Didriksson's guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Farha's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sven Didriksson has got the better of the ground game so far.

Farha has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Didriksson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Farha is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Didriksson pulls down on the head and he's put Farha to sleep! This one is all over!
