and McGuire counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McGuire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Samson.
McGuire misses with an uppercut. Samson saw that one coming.
Brock Samson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Samson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crunch! McGuire slams his shin into Samson's torso.
McGuire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Samson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Samson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Samson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Brock Samson has been cut.
Samson throws a leg kick which misses McGuire's front leg but catches the back leg as McGuire tries to avoid it.
Samson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGuire uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Samson.
Samson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. McGuire checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Samson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McGuire cracks a nice hook into Samson's ribs.
McGuire thumps Samson with a low kick.
McGuire scores with a jab. Samson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Samson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

McGuire shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McGuire was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
McGuire wants to control but Samson is keeping him busy.
