The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puff will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by Xander or perhaps it was just good defense by Puff which made him look bad.
Xander pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Puff back to the cage. Xander follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Puff moves in looking to clinch but Xander pushes him off.
Xander misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Puff misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Xander closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Puff to the mat! Puff manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Coco Puff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suzuki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Salsbury to the mat! Salsbury manages to get full guard.
Salsbury manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Suzuki manages to get himself to full guard.

Salsbury has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Suzuki to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Salsbury is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Suzuki pulls down on the head and he's put Salsbury to sleep! This one is all over!

and Wood counters by moving into the clinch.

Wood tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tischer just stands there and leans against the cage.

Tischer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Wood drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tischer gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Tyson lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Victorino at a distance.
Victorino ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tyson moves away.

Victorino moves into range and clinches up with Tyson.

Tyson has clasped his hands together around Victorino's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Tyson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Victorino looks calm but he's in trouble here. Tyson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Victorino is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Tyson lets go of the hold and Victorino can pop his arm back in it's socket.
