The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carolus. Dobzinski throws a hook to the side of Carolus's head but Carolus sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dobzinski looks to land a combination but Carolus avoids it well. Carolus shoots in looking for a takedown but Dobzinski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carolus's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Dobzinski throws the left hand but Carolus avoids the punch easily. A slow jab from Dobzinski misses its intended target. Carolus avoids the body shot from Dobzinski.
Dobzinski lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dobzinski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Dobzinski's corner calls for a 1-2. Dobzinski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Diederik Carolus has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Carolus doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dobzinski counters with a right hand to the body. Carolus's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Carolus was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marcelo Dobzinski! Marcelo Dobzinski spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson slips under a jab. Dio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Johnson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Dio throws out a leg kick but Johnson moves out of range and Dio only half commits. Oooooh!!! Dio has knocked Johnson down with a huge combo! Dio steps away and waves a wobbly Johnson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Ezekiel Johnson has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! No joy there for Dio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dio scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Dio lands a big uppercut and Johnson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Johnson looks OK. Dio waves Johnson back to his feet!
Johnson is rocked! Dio fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Dio finish him? That kick from Dio tenderised Johnson's leg. Johnson is trying to keep his angry face on. Dio flashes Johnson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Johnson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Johnson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Dio punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Pinochet throws a hook to the side of Da Hammer's head but Da Hammer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pinochet shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Da Hammer sprawls well. Da Hammer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pinochet gets slowly back to his feet. Pinochet with a lazy takedown attempt and Da Hammer counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Pinochet shoots and misses and Da Hammer counters with a left to the body. Nammer Da Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Pinochet. Da Hammer comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pinochet misses with a hook. Augusto Pinochet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pinochet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Da Hammer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Da Hammer stuffs the takedown attempt from Pinochet. Pinochet gets slowly back to his feet. Pinochet walks into a straight right hand from Da Hammer.

Pinochet is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Da Hammer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Da Hammer stops Pinochet from passing to mount. Da Hammer tries to buck Pinochet off but Pinochet is having none of it. Pinochet tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pinochet wants to lay and pray for a moment but Da Hammer keeps working. Pinochet tries to advance to mount but Da Hammer denies him. Da Hammer managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Pinochet.
Da Hammer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pinochet wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pinochet goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Da Hammer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Pinochet but great work by Da Hammer. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pinochet wants to control but Da Hammer postures up. Da Hammer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pinochet is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pinochet sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nammer Da Hammer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pinochet throws a lazy right hand but Da Hammer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Da Hammer scores with a hook to the body. Pinochet takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Da Hammer throws an overhand right that lands on Pinochet's shoulder, as Pinochet tries to avoid the shot. Da Hammer avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Pinochet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Pinochet trying to pass the guard but Da Hammer defending well. Da Hammer is looking to improve his position.
Pinochet is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Da Hammer is just riding it out for now. Pinochet eventually gives up the hold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Luvi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but David manages to avoid it. David looks to land a left hand but Luvi moved out of range nicely. Luvi looks to score with a jab to the body but David is just out of range. Luvi is looking to clinch. Luvi looks to land a right hand but David moved out of range. David takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. David slips a straight right by Luvi. David changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luvi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. David taking a break here but Luvi is having none of it and regains half guard. David wants to pass the guard but Luvi is defending well. Luvi is defending against the submission attempts here by David.
David perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

David trying to mount his opponent but Luvi defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David wants to control but Luvi is keeping him busy. Luvi throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. David closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Luvi to the mat! Luvi manages to get full guard. Luvi looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. David tries to free his leg and advance position but Luvi is retaining full guard. David preventing the sweep. David passes easily into side control. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lull in the action here as David stalls from top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. David trying to control the position but Luvi is working away.

David is trying to get an arm triangle but Luvi is defending well. Luvi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked David off and has taken his back! David can't escape the position.

David bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Luvi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from David. Luvi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt David. Melekh David is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. David slips a straight right by Luvi. Luvi scores with a kick to the body.

Luvi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. David feints a jab promting Luvi to slip. David then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Luvi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Luvi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David moves out of range and avoids them all easily. David scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. David is looking to advance position but Luvi won't allow it. David perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! David is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Luvi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. David frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Luvi is squirming around, avoiding David's attempts to control the action. David putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

David postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Luvi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Luvi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
