The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a head kick but Lyman moves out of range.
Lyman drives through and clinches with Jones against the cage.

It looks like Darren Jones has been cut. Lyman lands an elbow inside. Lyman creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jones's defenses. Lyman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lyman tries a head kick but it misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zisser avoids the head kick by Garcia.
Garcia jabs Zisser to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nice straight punches there by Garcia. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Garcia. Brian Garcia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garcia lands a glancing blow to the side of Zisser's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garcia darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Garcia smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Zisser is rocked! Zisser ducks into an uppercut from Garcia and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pittana looks to land a combination but Hardy avoids it well. Pittana misses with a hook to the body
and Hardy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Pittana! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pittana wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Hardy taking a breather here. Pittana is trying to buck Hardy off. Hardy postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hardy controlling the position from side mount. Hardy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Andre Hardy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pittana will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pittana throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sloppy strikes from Pittana. Those never looked like landing. Pittana misses with a two punch combination.
Hardy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A jab from Hardy does it's job there. Hardy slips a jab from Pittana. Hardy walks into a straight right hand from Pittana. Pittana misses with a wild combination.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pittana connects with a crisp jab. Pittana throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Pittana is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hardy. Pittana misses with a wild body shot. Pittana throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hardy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Pittana just misses with a punch to the body.

and Hardy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardy lands a couple of digs. Pittana wants to stand but Hardy is controlling the position. Pittana can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hardy controls the pace. Hardy prevents Pittana from getting back to his feet. Pittana wants to get back to his feet but Hardy passes into half guard.
Hardy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Hardy sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pittana defending well though. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hardy in particular looking to stall. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hardy moves away from the strike by Pittana. Pittana throws out a loose jab but Hardy uses good head movement to avoid it. Pittana throws a predictable looking body shot
and Pittana takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pittana swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alessandro Pittana will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Hardy misses with a few strikes there.

Pittana throws a hook to the side of Hardy's head but Hardy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Andre Hardy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pittana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hardy manages to avoid it. Alessandro Pittana seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pittana wants to try and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardy controlling his opponent. Andre Hardy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. You get the feeling that Pittana really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Pittana squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Hardy controlling the position easily from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hardy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hardy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pittana. Pittana lands a nice looking body shot.

Pittana takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Pittana bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hardy's head. Pittana walks into a jab. Hardy scores with a hook to the body. Pittana takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Hardy eats them both and turns towards Pittana to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hardy feints a jab promting Pittana to slip. Hardy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pittana slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hardy lands with a good body shot. Pittana tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hardy was well out of range. Poor timing from Pittana. Hardy fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Pittana misses with a looping right. Pittana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Hardy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pittana's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hardy controls from within his opponent's guard. Hardy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pittana's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardy tries to pass to full mount but Pittana defends it. Hardy is figuring out what he wants to do next. Hardy passes to full mount! Hardy controlling the pace for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that's the end of the fight! Alessandro Pittana comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Pittana has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
