Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and B A Ware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lyle kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is "This Charming Man" By The Smiths. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ware lands a jab. Good exchange - Ware coming out on top. Ware throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lyle. Ware pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Lyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Lyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lyle uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ware. Ware catches Lyle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Ortiz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Ortiz missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Ortiz is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ortiz not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Ortiz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sabota's head. Ortiz throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Ortiz prevents Sabota from standing back up.
Ortiz is nestled in close to Sabota, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Sabota on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sabota tries to get out of the position.
Sabota manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ortiz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sabota looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sabota postures up in Ortiz's guard and throws a big left but Ortiz blocks it. Ortiz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Angel Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sabota fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ortiz avoids it really well and circles away. Ortiz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sabota is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ortiz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sabota.

Sabota leaves Ortiz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Peter Sabota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Angel Ortiz. Ortiz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sabota but Sabota pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sabota fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ortiz shoots in and drives through. Sabota sprawls well.

Ortiz throws a strike but Sabota rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sabota missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Ortiz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sabota defends it easily. Sabota preventing the sweep. Sabota throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ortiz works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sabota being controlled here momentarily. Ortiz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Sabota throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ortiz trying to keep a closed guard but Sabota is proving a slippery customer.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sabota has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ortiz is trying to keep Sabota in close.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sabota has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ortiz is proving hard to escape from. Sabota throws a big elbow that misses. Sabota is fighting to break Ortiz's control of his arms but Ortiz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

And that's the end of the fight! Angel Ortiz comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ortiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morgan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed House momentarily.
House jabbing away but nothing is landing. House is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Morgan. Morgan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Morgan stalks House and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into House's face. House staggers backwards, shaken.

and Trenton counters with a two punch combo. Trenton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Russo was well out of range. Poor timing from Trenton. Some bone on bone action there as Trenton checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Trenton's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Trenton duly obliges. Trenton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Russo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Trenton throws out a loose jab but Russo uses good head movement to avoid it. Trenton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Russo avoids a punch combination nicely.

Trenton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trenton misses with a lunging right hand
and Russo moves into the clinch.

Russo goes for a takedown attempt but Trenton pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Russo closes the distance and pushes Trenton back into the cage. Russo has Trenton pressed against the cage, preventing Trenton from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Trenton looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Trenton is defending well against a takedown attempt. Spider Trenton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donato Russo. Russo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Russo has Trenton pressed against the cage, preventing Trenton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Trenton manages to break the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Trenton. Russo does a little dance to reset his feet. Trenton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Russo moves away.

Russo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Trenton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Spider Trenton is winning the standup battle so far. Russo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Trenton is fending him off so far but Russo persists. Nope, Trenton circles away and we're back to standing. Trenton thows a body shot but no joy. Trenton throws a right hand that misses
and Russo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Russo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Trenton engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Russo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trenton manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spider Trenton dominated that second round. That's time! Trenton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Russo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Trenton's half guard. Donato Russo has got the better of the ground game so far. Trenton looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
