5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roger Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Winnipeg Manitoba! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manitoba has his takedown stuffed
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control.
Gracie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Manitoba knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Manitoba is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Manitoba rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Manitoba! Manitoba is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control.
Manitoba gets to his feet. Gracie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Manitoba tries for a takedown but Gracie circles away easily
and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Manitoba! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manitoba tries to improve position but can't.
Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Manitoba wants to control but Gracie postures up.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Manitoba has escaped the position, nice work there. Manitoba can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie swings around for an armbar but Manitoba sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Manitoba controls from within his opponent's guard.
Gracie has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Manitoba doesn't defend quickly enough and Gracie has managed to lock this one up! Can Manitoba escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gracie on a fantastic submission victory.

Johnson comes into the arena with Johnny Cash - The Man Comes Around blaring out of the sound system. Machida has chosen Linkin Park - Lost in the echo as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, King Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lyoto Machida! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson defending well as Machida loads up on a big left hand.
Johnson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Johnson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machida keeps working. Machida controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson wants to pass to mount but Machida is defending the position. Machida keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Johnson stops Machida from getting back to his feet.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because King Johnson just wasn't active enough. Johnson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Machida avoids it really well and circles away. Machida swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Johnson. Johnson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Machida misses. Lyoto Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Johnson slips a jab from Machida. Machida scores with a body shot.
Machida throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A swing and a miss from Machida. Johnson shoots in but no luck this time. Machida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A big left from Machida misses. A big right from Machida misses. Machida scores with the left hand. Johnson knows he should have avoided that one. Machida missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Machida misses with a low kick. Lyoto Machida seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson darts in and clinches Machida up against the cage. Johnson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Johnson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Machida's defenses.
 It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut. Machida looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Johnson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Johnson prevents the takedown attempt.
Johnson pushes off an throws an elbow but Machida leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Johnson misses with the head strike.
Johnson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Machida has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment. Johnson lands a knee to the body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Machida takes an elbow to the forehead. Johnson lands an elbow inside. Machida tries to circle away but Johnson has him pinned against the cage.
Machida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Machida throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Machida jabbing away but nothing is landing. A chopping leg kick lands by Johnson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A combination from Johnson does no damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson dodges the punch combination from Machida.
Johnson moves out of range as Machida strikes. A big right from Machida misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that King Johnson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lyoto Machida's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Johnson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Machida defends it nicely. Machida checks the leg kick. Machida might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Machida lands with a good body shot. Machida misses with a two punch combination.
Machida misses with a looping left.
Machida feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Machida finish him?!
 Johnson is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Machida! Johnson is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Geoffery Reynolds! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Deathgrip fails to land with a series of punches.
Deathgrip tries to clinch up and Reynolds counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Deathgrip tries to close the distance and clinch but Reynolds swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Deathgrip scores with a takedown into Reynolds's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Deathgrip trying to control the position from guard on top but Reynolds is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Deathgrip is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Reynolds is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Deathgrip defends well. Deathgrip controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Reynolds working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Deathgrip doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Reynolds is tightening it up a little... Deathgrip has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Deathgrip reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Deathgrip taps out! Nice BJJ there by Reynolds!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Geoffery Reynolds! Geoffery Reynolds is the new middleweight champion! Geoffery Reynolds decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
