The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driftwood throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Alberta tries to clinch up but Driftwood circles away and keeps his distance. A punch combination from Alberta misses. Alberta slips a jab and a cross from Driftwood.
Driftwood slips under a jab. Alberta misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Alberta forces Driftwood back against the cage and clinches. Alberta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Driftwood misses with an attempted mid kick.

I think Rico might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stricken by Disturbed. Calaway has chosen R.I.P. as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jo El! Jo El decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves with a hook. Davi Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alves misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Walker counters with a nice body shot. Alves throws a low kick but Walker avoids it. Walker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Alves misses with a series of wild punches.
Alves fails to land the takedown. Walker throws a nice inside leg kick. Walker clinches up with Alves and pushes him back against the cage. Alves misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Alves misses with a short punch on the inside. Walker missing with knees to the body.
Alves tries to work over Walker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Walker tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Alves avoids it. A right handed body shot lands from Walker.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alves wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Walker has him pressed against the cage. Alves misses with some punches.

Walker throws a big shot that misses. Alves tries to land a front kick but Walker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Walker cracks a nice hook into Alves's ribs. Walker swings for the body but Alves moves out of range.

Walker throws a chopping leg kick but Alves manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Alves jabs at Walker's body. Walker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Alves throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Alves throws a jab when Walker was well out of range. That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circling - Alves throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Alves looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range. Alves fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Alves misses with the body kick and Walker counters with a nice low kick that buckles Alves's knee momentarily. Walker moves out of range of the leg kick from Alves. Alves doesn't succeed with the takedown and Walker counters with an inside leg kick. Stevie Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davi Alves. Alves on the wrong end of a nice jab. Nice takedown defense from Walker. No joy for Alves on that attempt. Stevie Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Alves lands a nice leg kick that just misses Walker's sensitive parts. Walker takes a swing at Alves's ribcage but misses. Alves scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Alves's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Alves crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Walker punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Jaa rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Parts finish him?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson scores with a leg kick.
A jab from Waterson misses. A big right from Waterson misses. Tyson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Waterson punishes Tyson's body with a nice straight punch. Waterson misses with a straight right. Waterson thows a leg kick but Tyson checks it and Tyson counters with a series of strikes. Waterson will be more careful next time no doubt. Waterson looks to throw the jab but Tyson is out of range. Tyson avoids the body shot from Waterson.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Waterson ducks right into an uppercut from Tyson. Waterson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tyson can pounce on him.

Waterson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Tyson works Waterson's body with a nice hook. Waterson thuds a left hand into Tyson's body. Waterson throws out a leg kick but Tyson moves out of range and Waterson only half commits. Tyson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Waterson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyson scrambles back to his feet. Waterson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Waterson throws a wild body kick that Tyson sees coming a mile off. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schulte lands a nice hook to Graves's body. Graves takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A clash of legs there as Graves blocks the low kick. Schulte lands a slapping body shot.
No joy there for Schulte, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
