The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Crowe's calf.
Crowe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but James is out of range.
Crowe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
James moves into the clinch.
James lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Harlan Crowe has been cut.

Crowe swings wildly with an uppercut but James uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crowe throws an elbow but it misses.
Crowe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crowe checks a low kick from James.
Crowe throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
James closes the distance but Crowe moves to the side
and Crowe counters with a single leg into guard. James didn't expect that.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Crowe wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.
James lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Crowe!
James has hold of Crowe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Crowe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
James wants to control the pace but Crowe is squirming around nicely.
Crowe is looking to improve his position but James isn't that keen on the idea.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Crowe manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
James wants to control but Crowe is having none of it.
Crowe can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as James is looking to escape.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Harlan Crowe decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
