Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pete Damato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dragon Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Damato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dragon Slayer! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Damato stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Slayer. Nice shot by Slayer. Slayer ducks under a wild hook from Damato. Damato takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A jab from Slayer does it's job there. Damato looks to score with a jab to the body but Slayer is just out of range. Damato throws a body punch but Slayer moves out of range. Slayer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Damato throws out the jab. Damato takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Slayer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Damato. Damato misses with a straight left. Damato throws a push kick but Slayer slaps the foot to one side. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Slayer, right into the meat.
The fighters circling - Damato throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Damato fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slayer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Slayer with a hook. Slayer throws a good cross that connects.
Damato misses with an uppercut
and Slayer counters with an inside leg kick. Damato moves into range and connects with a jab. Damato avoids a punch combination nicely.
Slayer takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Slayer scores with a sloppy right hand. Damato should have avoided that one. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Damato scores with a nice right hand.
Damato misses with a straight right. Damato misses with a low kick.
Damato looks to throw the jab but Slayer is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damato cracks Slayer with a good jab. Slayer connects with an inside leg kick. Slayer circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Damato drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Slayer follows Damato to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dragon Slayer! Dragon Slayer decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

Billington's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen. Bam Boon I struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Bam Boon I told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Billington sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Billington lands a nice looking body shot.
Billington loads up on a big right hand but Boon I slips the punch. Boon I misses the jab. A nice inside leg kick there by Boon I. That's going to slow Billington down. Billington needs to keep his hands up - Boon I had a free shot at his head there. Billington misses with a looping left. Boon I cracks Billington with an open hand slap. Billington tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Boon I manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Billington slips a jab and a cross from Boon I.
Boon I tests Billington's chin there with a solid looking shot. Boon I looks to score with a jab to the body but Billington is just out of range. Billington misses with a few strikes there.
Boon I tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bam Boon I seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Billington looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Boon I looks to land a right hand but Billington moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Boon I. A solid leg kick lands there for Billington.

Billington lands a couple of elbows. Billington in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Billington throwing strikes from guard but Boon I blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Billington drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Billington jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Boon I working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Billington. Billington scoring with some ground and pound. Billington has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Billington trying to control the position from guard on top but Boon I is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Billington postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Billington with a flurry of punches that miss. Boon I wants to sweep but no luck. Billington slips nicely into half guard. Billington takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boon I is trying to get back to full guard. Billington not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Billington not landing any meaningful shots this time. Billington is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Billington is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Billington is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boon I's head. Billington missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Boon I is in trouble now - Billington has advanced to mount! Boon I really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Billington. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Billington lands a heavy elbow. Billington punishing his opponent with strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thomas Billington dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Billington blocks a low kick nicely. Billington looks to score with a jab to the body but Boon I is just out of range. Boon I throws the left hand but Billington avoids the punch easily. Boon I misses with an uppercut
and Billington counters with a single leg into guard. Boon I didn't expect that. Billington lands a couple of digs.
Boon I is rocked! Billington postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Boon I covers up, he's hurt! Billington keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Billington and the ref steps in to end the fight! Billington can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A very excited looking Thomas Billington made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

Royer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Diaby shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Royer but Royer pushes him off and we're back to square one. Royer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Diaby. Dakota Royer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Royer is looking to slow Diaby down with leg kicks. No luck for Diaby with that takedown attempt. Royer throws a push kick but Diaby slaps the foot to one side. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Royer.

Royer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Hopkins doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Reinhardt crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Reinhardt's bad books for that mishap!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lightfoot screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James misses with an uppercut
and Esposito counters with a straight right hand. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Esposito crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from James - the referee stops the clock and Esposito gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says James. Esposito manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Esposito lands with an uppercut that bounces James off the cage and back into range. Esposito connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Esposito moves away. James dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Esposito. That did some damage! James rushes Esposito and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. James tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. James stalling the fight.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Esposito wants to lay and pray for a moment but James keeps working. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kaalikorva throws a jab but it's blocked by Beck. Beck throws a right hand that Kaalikorva ducks under and follows up with a left that Kaalikorva also avoids with ease. Kaalikorva misses with a hook. Beck ducked under it nicely. Beck blocks a leg kick. Kaalikorva throws a body punch but Beck moves out of range. Kaalikorva throws a sloppy head kick and Beck counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A bone on bone clash there as Beck blocks the leg kick.

Denke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Of Ravia has gone for a leg lock! Denke slips out almost immediately though and dives into Of Ravia's guard. Denke postures up in Of Ravia's guard and throws a big left but Of Ravia blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Denke postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Denke throws a big right hand that misses. Denke sitting in guard here, content to control. Denke looking to pass the guard. Denke slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Denke pushes down on Of Ravia's leg and manages to get into half guard. Of Ravia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Denke is working away from the top position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Denke lands a nice short elbow. Of Ravia is not content to let Denke control the position. Of Ravia keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Of Ravia tries to roll over but Denke keeps him under control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Of Ravia is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Denke missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
