The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Angle closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Le did well to prevent Angle getting side control.
Le gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Le preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Angle wants to pass the guard but Le is keeping the position.
Angle being controlled here momentarily.
Le tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Le trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Angle throwing strikes from guard but Le blocks nicely.
Le is trying to keep Angle in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Le keeping moving, preventing Angle from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Le looking to hit a scissor sweep but Angle is one step ahead there.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Angle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Le pinned against the cage. Le gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Le swings for the body but Angle moves out of range.
Angle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Le pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Angle misses with a takedown attempt - Le sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Angle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Le is looking to score with low kicks.

Angle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Le sprawls well. Le wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Angle gets slowly back to his feet.
Angle fails with the takedown.
Le displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angle.
Angle fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Le throws a low kick but Angle avoids it.
Horrible takedown by Angle or perhaps it was just good defense by Le which made him look bad.
Le dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Angle. That did some damage!
Angle throws a series of punches but Le avoids them all with ease.
Angle walks forward, straight into a front kick from Le.

Angle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Angle is breathing heavily.
Le fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Le, as that shot connected.
Some wild striking there from Le.
Le lands with a thumping leg kick.

Angle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Le!

Angle working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Angle is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Le looks calm but he's in trouble here. Angle gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Le is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Angle lets go of the hold and Le can pop his arm back in it's socket.
