The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clould on the wrong end of a nice jab. Makynen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Makynen with a nice cross. Makynen moves into range and connects with a jab. Makynen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A lazy left from Makynen finds it's target. Makynen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clould.
Clould drops his hands momentarily and Makynen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Clould tries to bum rush Makynen with a series of wild strikes but Makynen uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Makynen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clould. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Makynen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Makynen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Makynen tests Clould's chin there with a solid looking shot. Clould dives in and grabs Makynen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Makynen pushes down on Clould's head and hops out. Clould moves into range and clinches up with Makynen. Clould tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Makynen stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Makynen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Clould is rocked! Makynen dips a shoulder and cracks Clould with a mighty uppercut! Clould falls back against the cage and Makynen unloads with a barrage of strikes! Clould is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Makynen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to bum rush Neely with a series of wild strikes but Neely uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Neely dodges the punch combination from Silva.
Silva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Neely holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Nice elbow from Neely . Neely throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Silva using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Neely has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Neely creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Neely lands a takedown into guard.
Neely scoring with punches to the head and body. Neely sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Silva's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Neely takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Silva is rocked! Neely lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Oh Silva is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Neely lands a big elbow - Silva is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Neely !

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marcelo digs a good hook to Kurosaki's body.
The fighters circling - Kurosaki throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marcelo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Marcelo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kurosaki misses with a looping left. Marcelo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kurosaki. Kurosaki blocks a head kick by Marcelo.
Marcelo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kurosaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Marcelo staying out of range there. Marcelo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Marcelo throws a solid leg kick but Kurosaki takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Marcelo. Marcelo is looking to score with low kicks. Flavio Marcelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kurosaki thows a body shot but no joy. Kurosaki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Marcelo throws a sloppy head kick and Kurosaki moves out of range easily. Kurosaki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Marcelo throws a low kick, looking for Kurosaki's leg but Kurosaki calmly moves out of range. Marcelo scores with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki's corner calls for a 1-2. Kurosaki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Marcelo misses with a head kick.
Marcelo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kurosaki. No joy there for Marcelo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kurosaki throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kurosaki throws a jab when Marcelo was well out of range. Kurosaki lands a glancing blow to the side of Marcelo's head. Kurosaki checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Marcelo defending well as Kurosaki loads up on a big left hand. Marcelo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kurosaki closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Marcelo gets back to full guard.
Marcelo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kurosaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kurosaki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marcelo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kurosaki works a leg free and moves into half guard. Kurosaki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Marcelo! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee warns Marcelo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Marcelo is rocked! A big strike lands for Kurosaki! That's really hurt Marcelo and he's turned his back - Kurosaki keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Kurosaki jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

That was a close round but I would say that Verdmont Bronson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bright throws a right and a left that J Champ avoids nicely. J Champ lands a big head kick that sends Bright tumbling to the mat! J Champ takes a step backwards and waves Bright back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Day Bright has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bright checks the leg kick nicely there.
J Champ connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. J Champ buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Amarela pushes down on Schill's head and hops out. Excellent takedown into side control there by Amarela. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amarela working away. Schill is not content to let Amarela control the position. Amarela moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Schill tries to get back to half guard but can't. Amarela wants to lay and pray for a moment but Schill keeps working. Amarela in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Calzaghe circles away.

Lee darts in trying to clinch and Calzaghe counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lee thinking. Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Calzaghe is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Calzaghe circles away and we're back to standing. Calzaghe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lee moves into the clinch successfully.
