2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Farson! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Draper misses with a body shot
and Farson counters with a good low kick that Draper was not able to check. Farson misses with a looping right. A solid leg kick lands there for Farson.
Farson throws out a powerful jab. Draper lands with a good body shot. Draper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Farson throws out the jab. Farson slips under a jab from Draper. Farson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Draper. That did some damage! Draper moves away from the strike by Farson. Farson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Farson takes the fight into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Farson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Draper's efforts to push away. Farson slowing the pace effectively.

Draper is looking to wear down Farson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. A jab from Farson does it's job there.
Draper is rocked! Draper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Farson throws out the jab. Oh Draper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Farson misses with a hook. Draper gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big right from Threadgood misses. Threadgood pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cochino is out of range and Threadgood settles back down. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cochino. Threadgood attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Buddy Threadgood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A leg kick checked by Cochino. Cochino doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cochino connects with a leg kick. Threadgood looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Threadgood misses with a combination
and Cochino counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Threadgood misses with an uppercut. Cochino saw that one coming. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Threadgood, right into the meat.
Sloppy strikes from Threadgood. Those never looked like landing. Threadgood closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Threadgood is keen to just control but Cochino is a slippery customer. Threadgood tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cochino knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Threadgood moves into full mount! Cochino won't be happy about that! Threadgood tries to control but Cochino wriggling away. Cochino is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cochino is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cochino slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Cochino manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Cochino keeping moving, preventing Threadgood from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Threadgood looking to pass the guard. Threadgood looking to sit in guard and control but Cochino gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Threadgood wants to stand but Cochino is controlling the position. Threadgood has a closed guard, preventing Cochino from standing up. Threadgood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cochino is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cochino trying to control the position from guard on top but Threadgood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Chino Cochino hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Cochino chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Threadgood can pounce on him.
Threadgood works over Cochino's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Chino Cochino has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Threadgood misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cochino.

Threadgood connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Cochino to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Threadgood!

A very excited looking Buddy Threadgood made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. King wants to land a leg kick but Gerich is out of range. King avoids the head kick by Gerich.
King closes the distance and clinches. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Gerich is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but King is keeping busy. Gerich has King pressed against the cage, preventing King from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Both guys are working to get underhooks. King tries to land knees in the clinch but Gerich avoids the damage to the body. King is trying to force a seperation but Gerich has the dominant position. Gerich gets underhooks to prevent King's takedown attempt.

King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. King drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Gerich gets the underhooks and prevents it.

King is breathing heavily. King on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gerich throws a leg kick which misses King's front leg but catches the back leg as King tries to avoid it. Gerich throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gerich - that will leave a mark!
Gerich's corner calls for a 1-2. Gerich obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. King shoots in looking for a takedown. Gerich tries to sprawl out of it but King keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gerich manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gerich tries to clinch but King moves out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as King checks a leg kick. King throws a lazy head kick and Gerich moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gerich keeps control of King as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gerich with an attempt at a knee that misses.
King wants to take the fight to the mat but Gerich manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! King tries to break the clinch but Gerich is controlling the position. King is trying to force a seperation but Gerich has the dominant position. Gerich looks to throw an elbow but misses. Gerich avoiding damage as King throws knees to the body.
Gerich is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. King's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. King will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gerich will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gerich lands a head shot. King shoots in for a takedown but Gerich shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gerich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Gerich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. King pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gerich throws a front kick that sends King stumbling back into the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gerich avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gerich moves away. Gerich thows a body kick. King tries to catch it but that hurt him. King blocks a leg kick. King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gerich moves out of range and avoids them all easily. King checks a low kick from Gerich. Gerich lands a high kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gerich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gerich fails with an attempt to clinch.
A telegraphed right hand from Gerich misses the target. Varshik Gerich seems to be getting the better of the standup. A head kick misses from Gerich. King takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. King has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gerich. King stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gerich. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gerich.
Gerich bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Gerich lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Gerich clinches up against the cage. Gerich is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Gerich with a knee to the head.
King takes a knee right on the jaw!

A nice glancing elbow lands by Gerich. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for King. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Gerich stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The crowd are getting on Gerich's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Gerich breaks from the clinch.

Gerich lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but King circles away quickly and effectively. King moves in looking to clinch but Gerich pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Gerich gets tackled into the cage by King. King maintains the clinch. Gerich trying to stall but King improves his position.

This has been an exciting period of action! Gerich keeps the fight in the clinch, despite King's efforts to push away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! King tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Varshik Gerich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

King pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gerich throws a head kick that misses. Gerich moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Gerich buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Gerich rushes King and presses him up against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Gerich as King tries to tie him up. Come on Gerich - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gerich throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but King blocks it with crossed arms. Gerich controlling the action here for a moment.
King is trying to stall.

Gerich misses with an elbow over the top. King is looking to take this one to the mat. Gerich blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Gerich tries a knee to the head but King blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gerich stalling in the clinch but King improves position. Gerich lands an elbow inside. Gerich lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. King is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gerich gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Gerich with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

King tries to close the distance and clinch but Gerich swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gerich lands with a thumping leg kick.

Gerich fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches King on the side of the head. King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ryan King has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Gerich turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. King is looking to wear down Gerich with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Gerich wants to land a leg kick but King is out of range. King closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Gerich fails in his attempt to clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! King tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gerich manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gerich keeps the fight on the outside. King looks to throw a body kick and Gerich counters with a series of strikes. King will be more careful next time no doubt. Gerich jabbing away but nothing is landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gerich looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A head kick by King misses and Gerich counters with a nice body kick. Varshik Gerich is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gerich throws a series of punches but King moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Varshik Gerich comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Gerich has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krol thuds his shin into the meat of Laynpray's side. Krol stuffs the takedown attempt from Laynpray. Laynpray gets slowly back to his feet. Laynpray closes the distance and clinches up with Krol, looking for a takedown. Laynpray pushes Krol against the cage but Krol circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Laynpray fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krol avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Laynpray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krol throws a head kick that misses. Joe Laynpray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut lands for Krol. Hinds tries to circle away but Silva has him pinned against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Silva. Hinds can't find room to land a body shot as Silva controls the action.
Silva wants to take the fight to the mat but Hinds manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Riviere Hinds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Silva. Hinds is trying to maintain a safe position but Silva gets an underhook and turns Hinds into the cage. Hinds digs a right hand underneath Silva's ribcage. Silva let out a lung full of air as it connected. Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hinds is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alekseev connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Elbrys Gora has been cut. Alekseev works over Gora's head and body with a nice combination. Alekseev connects with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alekseev goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Gora scores with a jab to the head.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Alekseev here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Alekseev is looking to regain half guard here but Gora keeps moving and retains side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Allen comes to the cage accompanied by Funker Vogt "Arising Hero". Shaunessey has chosen Die Antwoord - Enter the Ninja as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Allen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vaughn Shaunessey! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allen avoids the body shot from Shaunessey.
Allen slips under a jab. Allen throws a big shot that misses. Shaunessey misses with a low kick as Allen jumps back. A solid leg kick lands there for Shaunessey.
Allen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shaunessey. Allen misses with a looping right. A cross from Shaunessey lands. Shaunessey on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Allen. Allen obviously looking to wear him down.
Shaunessey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Shaunessey checks a low kick from Allen. Shaunessey jabs Allen to the body, keeping him at a distance. Shaunessey tests Allen's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shaunessey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Allen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Shaunessey misses with a body kick. Shaunessey is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Allen. Allen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shaunessey takes a swing at Allen's ribcage but misses. Shaunessey chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shaunessey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Allen. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Allen. Shaunessey thumps Allen with a low kick. Allen throws an overhand right that lands on Shaunessey's shoulder, as Shaunessey tries to avoid the shot. Shaunessey connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Allen throws a jab but it's blocked by Shaunessey. Allen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shaunessey. Shaunessey obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shaunessey throws a leg kick which misses Allen's front leg but catches the back leg as Allen tries to avoid it. Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee is keeping an eye on Shaunessey - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Allen throws a leg kick that misses. Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Shaunessey paws at him with a jab and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shaunessey throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shaunessey throws a push kick but Allen slaps the foot to one side. Shaunessey swings for the body but Allen moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Allen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Shaunessey has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Allen has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Allen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Allen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Shaunessey thumps Allen with a low kick. A solid body kick from Allen. Allen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Allen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Allen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Shaunessey. That one must have hurt. Shaunessey comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shaunessey is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Allen rather than just go for the knockout. Shaunessey throws a nice outside leg kick. Allen lands with a nice body kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Allen blocks a head kick by Shaunessey.

Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Good leg kick by Shaunessey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
