13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Billy Do! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roger Marsden! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice shot by Marsden. The fighters circling - Marsden throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Marsden moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Marsden fails to land with a series of punches.
Marsden shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Do napping and manages to drive through into side control! Marsden misses with the ground and pound. Do can't do much from the bottom here. Marsden is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Do has escaped the position, nice work there. Do gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Marsden seems to be working for a kimura but Do defends the submission attempt. Marsden seems to be looking for submissions.

Do might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Marsden is working for a submission of some sort.
Marsden is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Do sees it coming and defends easily. Do keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Marsden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Marsden is working for a kimura but Do is defending it quite comfortably.
Do wants to control but Marsden is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsden is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Do is just riding it out for now. Marsden eventually gives up the hold. Marsden thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Do's head. Marsden prevents Do from improving his position. Marsden is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Marsden sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Do defending well though.

Marsden has gone for a leg lock! Do slips out almost immediately though and dives into Marsden's guard. Marsden looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Do has picked Marsden up and slammed him! Marsden can't keep hold of the triangle and Do manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marsden takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The ground and pound from Do seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marsden manages to work his way to half guard, despite Do's best efforts. Do working the head and body with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Do is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Marsden actively working from the bottom here. Do takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Marsden has hold of Do's hands but Do slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Do lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Do drops an elbow to the side of Marsden's head. Do winds up and cracks Marsden with a swinging punch to the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marsden regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Do. Marsden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Do doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Do manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Do will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Do uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Marsden. Marsden displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Do. Do looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Do explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Do is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Do tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marsden swats him away and circles back towards the center. Marsden ducks under a wild hook from Do. Marsden works the jab nicely. Do tries to close the distance and clinch but Marsden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marsden just misses with a punch to the body.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marsden is defended easily by Do. Do closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Marsden quickly recovers to half guard. Do not landing any meaningful shots this time. Do trying to control from half guard but Marsden is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marsden looking for submissions off his back. Do looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Marsden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Marsden looking for submissions off his back.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Do is trying to control the action in half guard but Marsden is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Do working over Marsden with some ground and pound. Marsden looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Do not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Marsden looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Do misses with a head shot. Marsden uses the momentum to regain guard. Do loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Marsden fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Marsden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Do is trying to defend but Marsden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. After the fight, Piero Vischi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Hilkuri has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carson finds it's way round the side to connect with Hilkuri's head. Hilkuri uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Carson stuns Hilkuri with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Carson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hilkuri is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carson's back! Carson rolls, trying to escape but Hilkuri keeps control of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loaf moves away from the strike by Witt. Loaf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Witt sprawls well initially but Loaf persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Loaf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Loaf missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Loaf works his foot free and advances to mount. Witt is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Loaf dominating with strikes here. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Witt tries to hold on but Loaf pushes him away. This has been an exciting period of action! Witt taking shots to the head. Loaf with good strikes from the mount here! Witt wants to control but Loaf is having none of it. Loaf unloading with bombs! Loaf postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Witt looks a forlorn figure.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ra misses the jab. Kelly throws out a leg kick but Ra moves out of range and Kelly only half commits. Ra with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ra stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kelly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ra pinned against the cage. Ra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice uppercut there from Kelly. Ra takes a swing at Kelly's ribcage but misses. Ra lands a jab. Ra tries to clinch up. Kelly chopping away at his opponent's legs.
