The bell rings for round one and we are underway! me blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but me is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones throws a big right hand that misses. Jones wants to control from the top but me keeps moving. Jones wants to pass the guard but me is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to stand but me is controlling his posture from full guard.
Joseph Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Jones misses with a double jab.

me gets a trip takedown into half guard. Jones tries to kick me off but me keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. me perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. me is working away from the top position though. Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but me scores with a couple of nice shots. Jones looking for submissions from an awkward position here. me takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones wants to control but me is keeping busy.

Jones won't allow me to sweep him here. me keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. me preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Oh no, disaster for me there! Jones has control of me's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and me regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Jones punches the canvas rather than the man. me biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. You can see the frustration on me's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Joseph Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching me on his heels. He'll look to pass me's guard now, I'm sure.

Jones advances position into side control! me is positioning himself to get back to half guard. me avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Jones. Memember me has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones gets to mount! me was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
And that's the end of the fight! Joseph Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Joseph Jones wins by unanimous decision! Joseph Jones decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fotopoulos throws a push kick but Krovitzky slaps the foot to one side. Krovitzky is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fotopoulos throws a sloppy head kick and Krovitzky moves out of range easily. Fotopoulos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Krovitzky counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Krovitzky. Fotopoulos is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Krovitzky gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Fotopoulos misses with some punches.

Fotopoulos throws the kick towards the body but Krovitzky avoids it. Fotopoulos throws a right hand that Krovitzky ducks under and follows up with a left that Krovitzky also avoids with ease. Fotopoulos lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mamumba gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Zukowski tries to pull guard but Mamumba holds him up against the cage and eventually Zukowski drops back down to his feet.
Mamumba jumps guard and drags Zukowski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Mamumba manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Mamumba has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zukowski's face.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mamumba raining down shots from the mount! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mamumba cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Mamumba loads up with a big shot that hurts Zukowski! He's pulled Mamumba in close but Mamumba has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Zukowski survive? More strikes from Mamumba and Zukowski is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Martinez misses with a takedown attempt - Tosser sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wrinkley Tosser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tosser throws a hook but Martinez avoids it easily. Tosser stuffs the takedown attempt from Martinez. Martinez gets slowly back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Tosser. Tosser connects with a high kick. Tosser connects with a high kick. Martinez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Junior Alvares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oblit Erator! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crunch! Alvares slams his shin into Erator's torso. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Alvares!
That kick from Alvares tenderised Erator's leg. Erator is trying to keep his angry face on. Alvares lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A head kick from Alvares lands but Erator takes it in his stride. Alvares throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Erator. A kick lands to the mid section there for Alvares. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Erator crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Alvares - the referee stops the clock and Erator gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Alvares. Erator manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Alvares scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Alvares throws a head kick that Erator semi-blocks.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Alvares. Erator shrugs it off though. Alvares throws a head kick that half lands.
Alvares lands with a slapping head kick. Alvares rushes Erator and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Alvares is trying to push Erator away but Erator has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Erator has Alvares pressed against the cage, preventing Alvares from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Erator tightens his grip and picks Alvares up, before dumping him to the ground. Alvares manages to land in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Erator postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alvares is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Erator, into his guard. Erator is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Erator is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Alvares is just riding it out for now. Erator eventually gives up the hold.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Junior Alvares. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Alvares, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from McCullough. No joy for Payne on that attempt. McCullough tries to bum rush Payne with a series of wild strikes but Payne uses good footwork to avoid the assault. McCullough misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McCullough drops Payne with a beautiful combination! Payne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCullough is looking for the KO!

It looks like Elliot Payne has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McCullough pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Payne is still on wobbly legs! Can McCullough finish him? Payne tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCullough paws at him with a jab and circles away. McCullough finds Payne's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Payne flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. McCullough lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Payne will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jack McCullough! Our winner, Jack McCullough, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
