1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Prachao Sua! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter missing with a left hand there. Sua was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sua throws an overhand right that lands on Carter's shoulder, as Carter tries to avoid the shot. Sua ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Carter finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Carter misses with the combination.
Sua throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sua uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carter. Sua avoids the body shot from Carter.
Carter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sua. Sua slips under a jab from Carter. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sua, right into the meat.
Sua misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter cracks the inside of Sua's front leg. Carter digs a good hook to Sua's body.
Sua connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carter's hands. Sua has Carter up against the cage in a clinch.
Sua has Carter pressed against the cage, preventing Carter from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Carter tries to throw a body punch but Sua avoids it by throwing Carter back against the cage. Carter misses with the head strike.

Sua looking to slow down the pace here. A head punch on the inside from Carter fails to land. Carter scores with a shoulder strike. The referee calls for Sua to work.
Carter misses with a knee strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter lands a body shot. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sua. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carter digs a right hand into Sua's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Sua's gas tank. Carter misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Prachao Sua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Carter swings for the body but Sua moves out of range.
Tron Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sua scores with a jab. Carter throws out a leg kick but Sua moves out of range and Carter only half commits. A bone on bone clash there as Carter blocks the leg kick.
Sua scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Carter doesn't seem bothered though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter checks the leg kick. Carter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sua has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Carter finds it's way round the side to connect with Sua's head. A jab from Sua finds it's way through Carter's defenses. Carter moves out of range as Sua throws a body kick.
Sua looks to score with a jab to the body but Carter is just out of range. Sua throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carter lands a slapping body shot.
Sua sizes up Carter with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Carter walks into a left hand.
Carter is rocked! Good leg kick by Carter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sua moves out of range as Carter strikes. A solid leg kick lands there for Sua.
Sua pushes Carter away with a front kick. Sua scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sua fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice defenses there by Carter. Sua jabs Carter to the body, keeping him at a distance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sua swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sua works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Sua changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prachao Sua dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sua. Sua throws a nice inside leg kick. Carter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sua tries to clinch but Carter is having none of it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Carter lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sua has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sua and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sua lands with a hook. Carter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Oh Carter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A low kick from Carter misses and Sua counters with a crisp right that sends Carter to the canvas! Sua follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prachao Sua!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vieira fails with a takedown attempt. Vieira slips under a jab from MachineOne. MachineOne throws a low kick but Vieira avoids it. MachineOne tries a low kick but Vieira avoids it. Vieira tries for a takedown but MachineOne circles away easily and MachineOne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. MachineOne lands with a hook. Vieira tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Rodolfo Vieira has been cut. Vieira checks a leg kick. Vieira shoots in but MachineOne avoids the takedown attempt easily. War MachineOne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodolfo Vieira. MachineOne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vieira is looking to clinch. Vieira misses with a takedown attempt and MachineOne counters with a slapping leg kick. Vieira misses with a takedown attempt - MachineOne sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. MachineOne scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Vieira looks winded! MachineOne throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Vieira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vieira takes a jab right on the kisser.
Vieira is rocked! War MachineOne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vieira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Nice body punch from MachineOne. Vieira gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! MachineOne points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Vieira wakes up just in time to hear MachineOne thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Dos Santos throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dos Santos sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Von Cunth throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Von Cunth misses with an uppercut. Rafael Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dos Santos lands with a nice body punch. Von Cunth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dos Santos was well out of range. Poor timing from Von Cunth. Von Cunth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dos Santos manages to avoid it. Von Cunth is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dos Santos lands with a nice combination. Dos Santos drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dos Santos wants to stand and escape but Von Cunth is having none of it. Von Cunth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Von Cunth wants to control from the top but Dos Santos keeps moving. Dos Santos is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dos Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Von Cunth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dos Santos is stalling here. Von Cunth is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dos Santos seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Von Cunth has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dos Santos regains half guard. Dos Santos has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Von Cunth is working away from the top position though. Von Cunth throwing shots but Dos Santos is blocking nicely. Von Cunth looks to land a strike but Dos Santos avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Dos Santos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Von Cunth's guard. Dos Santos postures up in Von Cunth's guard and throws a big left but Von Cunth blocks it. Von Cunth pulls Dos Santos in close to his closed guard and prevents Dos Santos from doing any damage or advancing position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dos Santos trying to control the position from guard on top but Von Cunth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Von Cunth lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Santos wants to control from the top but Von Cunth keeps moving. Von Cunth being controlled here, momentarily. Rafael Dos Santos is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight! Rafael Dos Santos showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dos Santos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? Bob rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Blast finish him?!
Blast blocks a low kick nicely. Blast keeps the fight on the outside. Blast throws a shot from downtown. Bob moves away and avoids it. Blast moves into the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blast lands an elbow inside that Bob shrugs off. Blast blocks an uppercut.
Blast takes an elbow to the forehead. Bob tries to work over Blast's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Blast has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Nopparat Somchaimy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Somchaimy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Poirier! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poirier chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.
Jones thumps Poirier with a low kick. Left hook, right uppercut from Poirier. Jones defending well as Poirier loads up on a big left hand. Poirier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Poirier.
Jones throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Poirier.
It looks like Peter Poirier has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Jones! Poirier is out on his feet! Jones rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Poirier is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Poirier is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Casey Jones! Casey Jones retains his light heavyweight title! Casey Jones took some time post fight to say the following; 'Tonight I was fighting on pure adrenalin, last night I blew my knee out nailing 3 crazy Japanese Olympic gymnasts at my hotel, But I still won, hopefully you guys thought it was an exciting performance'.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Van Den Broeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Van Den Broeck might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Insane Clown Posse - Miracles. Murray is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by KO muzik. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Den Broeck lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Van Den Broeck throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Murray throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Van Den Broeck sees it coming and avoids it easily. Murray throws a shot from downtown. Van Den Broeck moves away and avoids it. A jab from Murray misses. Van Den Broeck throws a looping overhand right but Murray ducks down to avoid it. A solid body kick from Van Den Broeck. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Murray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A nice inside leg kick there by Van Den Broeck. That's going to slow Murray down. Van Den Broeck throws a nice outside leg kick. Van Den Broeck thuds his shin into the meat of Murray's side. Murray looks winded! Murray misses with a few strikes there.
Murray throws a nice looking combination but Van Den Broeck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A slapping body kick lands there for Van Den Broeck. Murray takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Van Den Broeck lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Van Den Broeck fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Murray takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Van Den Broeck drops Murray with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Murray looks back up at him and smiles so Van Den Broeck waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Murray is rocked! Van Den Broeck circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Murray tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Van Den Broeck wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vincent Van Den Broeck! Vincent Van Den Broeck decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
