The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helderski tries for a takedown but Vanderbeet circles away easily and Vanderbeet counters with a good low kick that Helderski was not able to check. An inside leg kick lands from Vanderbeet. Helderski avoids the body shot from Vanderbeet.
Vanderbeet throws a low kick but it's checked well by Helderski. An inside leg kick lands from Vanderbeet. Vanderbeet feints and then cracks Helderski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Helderski down. Helderski fails to land with a series of punches.
Helderski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Helderski avoids the head kick by Vanderbeet.
Helderski closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vanderbeet quickly recovers to half guard. Helderski is pressing down on Vanderbeet's thigh, looking to free his foot. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasileiro shoots and misses and Namjera counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Namjera shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Namjera was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Brasileiro tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Namjera wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Namjera has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Namjera connects with a good right hand that stumbles Brasileiro. Brasileiro circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Namjera scores with a one two! Brasileiro had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Brasileiro doesn't succeed with the takedown and Namjera counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Namjera lands a nice hook to Brasileiro's body. Brasileiro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Namjera shoots in and bounces Brasileiro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Namjera has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Namjera stands up and waves to Brasileiro to follow him. Brasileiro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Namjera counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ovca Namjera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Brasileiro. Namjera trying to control but Brasileiro is working from the bottom. Namjera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Animai. Natsisiwa scores with a jab. Animai acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Natsisiwa scores with a body shot.
Natsisiwa lands a lovely overhand right. Animai shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Animai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Natsisiwa is fending him off so far but Animai persists. Animai stands and throws Natsisiwa's legs to the side, diving into side control. Animai swings around for an armbar but Natsisiwa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Animai's guard. Natsisiwa seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Natsisiwa looking to pass the guard. Animai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Natsisiwa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Natsisiwa wants to control from the top but Animai keeps moving. Animai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Natsisiwa defends it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Animai has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Natsisiwa should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Animai has tightened it up now! Natsisiwa should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gouken tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gouken checks a leg kick nicely. Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Smith fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gouken. That one must have hurt. Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gouken was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith. Gouken scores with a spinning back kick! Smith looks winded! Gouken throws a quick inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gouken connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. That kick from Gouken tenderised Smith's leg. Smith is trying to keep his angry face on. Gouken fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith. Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Gouken lands a head kick. Smith smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Gouken stuns Smith with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gouken scores with a jab to the head.
Gouken lets loose with a powerful body kick. Smith will feel that in the morning. Gouken throws a leg kick which misses Smith's front leg but catches the back leg as Smith tries to avoid it. Smith takes one on the button. Gouken connects with a body shot. Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Gouken, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Gouken against the cage but Gouken circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Gouken's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Smith falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Gouken! And that's the end of the fight! Outfuh Blood comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaeger looks to score with a jab to the body but Hai is just out of range. Hai slips under a jab from Jaeger. Hai shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaeger sprawls well. He's pushed Hai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hai looks to land a right hand but Jaeger moved out of range. Hai moves away from the strike by Jaeger. Jaeger swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Murray moves out of range as Karwoski strikes. Murray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Murray here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Murray throws a lazy right hand but Karwoski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Murray cracks a nice hook into Karwoski's ribs. Murray misses with an uppercut. Murray keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Karwoski misses with a straight left. Murray works the jab nicely. Karwoski throws a leg kick but Murray checks it. Murray punishes Karwoski's body with a nice straight punch. Murray scores with a nice head shot. Murray is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Karwoski can do to turn this around? Murray lands a nice shot that snaps Karwoski's head back.

It looks like Kirk Karwoski has been cut. Murray misses with a takedown attempt - Karwoski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lee Murray is winning the standup battle so far. Karwoski needs to keep his hands up - Murray had a free shot at his head there. Karwoski is still on wobbly legs! Can Murray finish him? Murray drops Karwoski with a beautiful combination! Karwoski stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Murray is looking for the KO! Murray keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Karwoski! This one is all over!
