The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kuivanen misses with a wild body shot. Andersson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kuivanen's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Andersson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Kuivanen trying to keep a closed guard but Andersson is proving a slippery customer.
Andersson is working Kuivanen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kuivanen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Andersson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Andersson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kuivanen's head. Andersson is in close to Kuivanen's body, working some short punches and elbows. This has been an exciting period of action! Andersson preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andersson content to stall in guard here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Andersson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Kuivanen is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Kuivanen wants to sweep but Andersson has passed to side control! Andersson staying calm. Andersson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Prado displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Harrison. Harrison gets a double leg takedown into Prado's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Prado wants to stand up but Harrison is controlling him. Harrison is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Harrison has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Prado is proving hard to escape from. Prado keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. Harrison lands a couple of decent looking shots. Harrison trying to control but Prado is working from the bottom. The ref stands the fighters back up because William Harrison just wasn't active enough. Nice takedown defense from Prado. No joy for Harrison on that attempt. Harrison looks to score with a jab to the body but Prado is just out of range. Prado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Prado wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Prado stuffs the takedown attempt from Harrison. Harrison gets slowly back to his feet. Prado shoots for a double leg takedown but Harrison sprawls well. He's pushed Prado's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Prado shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harrison as he jumps to the side. Harrison gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Prado counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Harrison's guard now.

I think Prado should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Harrison has tightened it up now! Prado should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Brown misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Pucci is working to avoid the ground and pound but Brown connects with a decent elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown landing strikes. Brown tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Brown creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Pucci sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Brown scoring with punches from side control. The strikes coming from Brown are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Brown cracks Pucci with a big right hand but Pucci just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Michael Eldridge dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jackie Treehorn's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Eldridge turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A jab lands there for Eldridge. Eldridge throws a wild body kick that Treehorn sees coming a mile off. A shot to the liver by Eldridge. Beautiful body shot. Treehorn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Eldridge throws a head kick that Treehorn semi-blocks.
A chopping leg kick lands by Eldridge. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Eldridge has taken the fight to the clinch.
Eldridge gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Eldridge comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Eldridge lands a body punch. Eldridge lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Treehorn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Treehorn being controlled against the cage. Treehorn misses with the head strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eldridge gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jackie Treehorn's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Kalle Krook! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Poulter! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krook misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Poulter.
Sloppy strikes from Krook. Those never looked like landing. Donk. Krook catches Poulter right on the button with a cross. Poulter pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. A jab from Poulter misses. Poulter scoring well with a low kick there.
Poulter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Krook closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Poulter did well to prevent Krook getting side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Krook slips a nice elbow through Poulter's hands, connecting with Poulter's forehead. Krook trying to mount his opponent but Poulter defends it. Krook has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Poulter wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Krook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krook working Poulter over with strikes here. Krook is landing with some decent strikes but Poulter is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. BOOM! Krook connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Krook lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poulter is in a horrible position here. Krook smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Krook trying to control but he's not successful this time. Krook cracks Poulter with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krook lands a heavy elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. BOOM! Krook connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Poulter is rocked! A big strike lands for Krook! That's really hurt Poulter and he's turned his back - Krook keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Krook jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
