The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Black is defended easily by Benton.

Benton fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Black, pushing him back against the cage.
Benton gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Black.
Black prevents Benton from breaking the clinch.
Black tries to pull guard but Benton forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Grant Benton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Black.
Black throws an elbow but it misses.
Black is working for takedown but Benton is calmly controlling the position for now.
Benton makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Black goes for a takedown in the clinch but Benton prevents it.
Benton throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Blacks head.
Benton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Black backwards.
Black drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Benton gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Black changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Benton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Benton leaves Black with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Black with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Benton to score with a decent uppercut.

Benton lands with a big right hook that stumbles Black - he's out on his feet here! Benton follows up with another monster hook that separates Black from consciousness! Black falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Benton stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Preston closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Preston is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Pencil is trying to get back to his feet but Preston has full control of the position and if anything, Pencil has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Let's hope that Preston has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zane Olav.

Locke drops his hands momentarily and Fjodor takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Oh Locke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Locke throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fjodor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Locke seems to have got his legs back now.
Locke closes the distance and clinches up with Fjodor, looking for a takedown. Locke pushes Fjodor against the cage but Fjodor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fjodor drops Locke with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Locke looks back up at him and smiles so Fjodor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Locke seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Fjodor shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Locke is backing up but Fjodor catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Locke covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Fjodor Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fabolous Fjodor!
During a confident post fight interview, Fabolous Fjodor thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Unkown moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Unkown shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hendricks eats them both and turns towards Unkown to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Johnny Hendricks has been cut.
Unkown slips under a jab from Hendricks.
Unkown throws a front kick that sends Hendricks stumbling back into the cage.
Unkown lands a jab-cross combination.
A nice combination there by Unkown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hendricks crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Unkown - the referee stops the clock and Hendricks gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Unkown. Hendricks manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
