The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalnoky tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCallister sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kalnoky somewhat. Kalnoky tries to clinch but McCallister moves out of range. McCallister misses with a series of wild punches.
Kalnoky throws a wild hook but McCallister just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Kalnoky gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - McCallister raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

MacLeod throws a leg kick that misses. MacLeod connects with a leg kick. Hendricks looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. MacLeod throws a big shot that misses. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. MacLeod wants to control but Hendricks is keeping busy and won't allow it. MacLeod wants to get back to full guard. MacLeod is trying to stand back up but Hendricks is controlling him
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. MacLeod keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hendricks is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hendricks winds up and cracks MacLeod with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Hendricks lands with a punch from half guard. Hendricks is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. MacLeod gets full guard. MacLeod wants to stand and escape but Hendricks is having none of it. Hendricks preventing the sweep. Hendricks missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. No joy there for Hendricks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hendricks shoots in and drives through. MacLeod sprawls well. MacLeod connects with a looping right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hendricks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. MacLeod eats them both and turns towards Hendricks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Hendricks shoots in for a double leg but MacLeod sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. MacLeod ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A decent looking cross lands there for MacLeod. Hendricks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hendricks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ronan MacLeod has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Hendricks. Hendricks looks winded! MacLeod turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

MacLeod swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hendricks. Jake Hendricks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. MacLeod takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Hendricks misses with a two punch combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aranda on the wrong end of a nice jab. Aranda takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Aranda moves into range and clinches up with Huruiama. Huruiama jumps into guard, dragging Aranda to the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Aranda gets to his feet - Huruiama follows without any prompting. Aranda misses with a takedown attempt - Huruiama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Aranda takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Huruiama with a body punch. A glancing blow. Aranda moves into the clinch successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action! Aranda jumps guard.
Aranda wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Aranda pushes a forearm under Huruiama's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Huruiama is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall throws a hook but Trevor avoids it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Hall. That snapped Trevor's head back.

Hall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trevor tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hall is in Trevor's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Hall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trevor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hall escapes and throws Trevor's legs to the side, diving into side control! Trevor is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hall off and has taken his back! The referee is taking a good look at Hall as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Trevor!

Hall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hall. Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trevor on the ground. Trevor lands a couple of digs. Trevor working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hall's head. Trevor chips away with some ground and pound. Hall wants to sweep here but Trevor controlling him for the moment. Trevor stops Hall from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevor lands a couple of elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Trevor passes Hall's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hall avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Trevor. Trevor wants to stand but Hall has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Hall trying to control but Trevor postures up.
Hall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hall tries to get out of the position. Hall is breathing heavily. Trevor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Trevor lands with a punch from half guard. Trevor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Trevor connects with a nice short shot to Hall's temple. Hall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Trevor stands up and beckons Hall to join him on the feet.

Trevor tries for a takedown but Hall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Trevor closes the distance and clinches up with Hall, looking for a takedown. Trevor pushes Hall against the cage but Hall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hall showed some decent athleticism there. Trevor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily. Hall moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Trevor.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Trevor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trevor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hall is looking to pass into half guard but Trevor pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Trevor is in guard. Trevor stands and steps away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Trevor keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully. Hall avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Tim Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hall has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Trevor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hall is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Trevor pulls down on the head and he's put Hall to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ardzinski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Ardzinski moves in looking to clinch but Shift pushes him off. Shift tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ardzinski swats him away and circles back towards the center. Shift showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ardzinski.
Ardzinski slips a straight right by Shift. Ardzinski works Shift's body with a nice hook. Pawel Ardzinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ardzinski feints a jab promting Shift to slip. Ardzinski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shift slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Momentum Shift has been cut. Ardzinski closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Shift is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ardzinski gets in close and tags Shift with a short punch that almost sends Shift to the mat! Oh Shift is in big trouble! He turns his back on Ardzinski, trying to create some distance but Ardzinski rushes him, striking wildly and Shift goes down! The referee tackles Ardzinski into the cage to end the fight! Ardzinski is one violent man!
