The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira just misses with a punch to the body.
Guy lands a nice looking body kick.
A slow jab from Nogueira misses its intended target.
Nogueira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nogueira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Guy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nogueira shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Fighter will probably get the nod.

Lita manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fighter manages to get himself to full guard.

Lita wants to control from the top but Fighter keeps moving.
Lita might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fighter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Lita stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fighter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Renato Lita.

Fighter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter lands in his opponent's guard.

Lita is looking to stand up but Fighter won't let him.
Lita is working Fighter over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Lita pushes Fighter away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fighter gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Fighter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lita's shoulder. That is not cool.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lita throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Fighter is staying tight to Lita's torso, preventing him from escaping.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daniel Fighter.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fighter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

McDougall drops Leonardo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leonardo looks back up at him and smiles so McDougall waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Crusher.
Power is looking to land body kicks.
