The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant fails with a takedown attempt. Nice cross by Hermansson. Horrible takedown by Grant or perhaps it was just good defense by Hermansson which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Hermansson. No joy for Grant on that attempt. Jan Olov Hermansson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwight Grant. Grant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hermansson. Hermansson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Hicks sneaks back into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hicks is trying to get back to full guard. Callahan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Nielsen wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Nielsen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Nielsen lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Artist missing with knees to the body.
