Sepang shoots in looking for a takedown but Baran manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sepang's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sepang has Baran up against the cage in a clinch.
Baran tries to circle away but Sepang has him pinned against the cage. Baran tries to break free but Sepang pushes him back against the cage. Sepang manages to pull guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Baran wants to stand but Sepang has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Baran gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Baran tries a head kick but it misses.
Baran feints a jab promting Sepang to slip. Baran then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sepang slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Sepang looks for a takedown but Baran sprawls well. Sepang takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Baran stalks Sepang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sepang's face. Sepang staggers backwards, shaken. A bone on bone clash there as Baran blocks the leg kick.
Baran tests Sepang's chin there with a solid looking shot. Baran tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Sepang is able to avoid easily. Sepang misses with a head kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baran tries to bum rush Sepang with a series of wild strikes but Sepang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sepang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baran tries to avoid it but Sepang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baran to the ground. Baran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Baran connects with a jab. Baran's corner calls for a 1-2. Baran obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Baran lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Sepang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baran as he avoids it easily. Baran cracks a nice hook into Sepang's ribs. Baran lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sepang closes the distance and clinches. Baran wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sepang has him pressed against the cage. Baran takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sepang turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sepang manages to end up in side control. Baran tries to escape but Sepang is in control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sepang tries to move to full mount but Baran actually manages to regain half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kavcic bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bohrer Dias looking for a sweep but Kavcic has passed into full mount! Oh no! Kavcic controlling the pace for now. Kavcic trying to control but he's not successful this time. Kavcic controlling his opponent. Kavcic is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Bohrer Dias is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Bohrer Dias flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Kavcic anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Bohrer Dias and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Kavcic slips an arm under Bohrer Dias chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Kavcic has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Kavcic is squeezing on Bohrer Dias like an anaconda would it's prey. Bohrer Dias fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
