0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henri Ivanovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bahtiyar Yildiz! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanovski shoots in and drives through. Yildiz sprawls well. Yildiz tries to clinch up but Ivanovski circles away and keeps his distance. Yildiz throws a head kick but Ivanovski moves out of range.
Yildiz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ivanovski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Yildiz counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ivanovski won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yildiz controls the position. Yildiz lands a decent elbow from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ivanovski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Yildiz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ivanovski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Yildiz wants to control the position but Ivanovski says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Ivanovski wants to take a breather but Yildiz is having none of it.

Yildiz is holding on to half guard well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yildiz can do anything to dispel that myth.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ivanovski dives in and grabs Yildiz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yildiz pushes down on Ivanovski's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henri Ivanovski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ivanovski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yildiz but Yildiz pushes him off and we're back to square one. Yildiz closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ivanovski quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yildiz is working for a submission of some sort.

Ivanovski wants to control but Yildiz is keeping busy and won't allow it. Yildiz is looking to take a break and control but Ivanovski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ivanovski regains full guard. Nicely done.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bahtiyar Yildiz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Yildiz drives through with a takedown into guard. Yildiz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yildiz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yildiz preventing the sweep. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Yildiz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ivanovski wants to stand but Yildiz is controlling the position. Yildiz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ivanovski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ivanovski is trying to hold Yildiz in close to prevent damage but Yildiz has managed to pass into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Yildiz in particular looking to stall. Yildiz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ivanovski defending well though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice strikes from Yildiz there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yildiz is figuring out what he wants to do next. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are battling for position here. Ivanovski manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Yildiz tries to free his leg and advance position but Ivanovski is retaining full guard. Yildiz wants to get up but he can't break Ivanovski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Yildiz being controlled here momentarily. Ivanovski is trying to keep Yildiz in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yildiz looking to sit in guard and control but Ivanovski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ivanovski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Yildiz lands a good elbow from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yildiz holds on and takes a little breather. Yildiz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yildiz tries to free his leg and advance position but Ivanovski is retaining full guard. Ivanovski controls Yildiz momentarily but Yildiz frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bahtiyar Yildiz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Ivanovski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Yildiz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ivanovski avoids it really well and circles away. Ivanovski moves in looking to clinch but Yildiz pushes him off. Ivanovski has his takedown stuffed and Yildiz counters with a one-two to the body. Ivanovski scores with a crisp jab that stopped Yildiz in his tracks. Yildiz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ivanovski circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ivanovski. Yildiz throws a wild body kick that Ivanovski sees coming a mile off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ivanovski moves into the clinch. Ivanovski is trying to push Yildiz away but Yildiz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Yildiz jumps guard.
Yildiz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ivanovski! Yildiz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ivanovski looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Ivanovski rolls, trying to escape but Yildiz keeps control of the position.
Yildiz wants to control but Ivanovski is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yildiz scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

Ivanovski tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Yildiz with a couple of short strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ivanovski is squirming around, avoiding Yildiz's attempts to control the action. Ivanovski is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ivanovski bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Yildiz is on top in guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bahtiyar Yildiz wasn't active enough on the ground. Yildiz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Henri Ivanovski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bahtiyar Yildiz. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ivanovski. Ivanovski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yildiz wants to pass the guard but Ivanovski is keeping the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lupu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Huseinspahic but Huseinspahic pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lupu instigates a clinch. Huseinspahic breaks from the clinch.
Lupu dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lupu looks to clinch and Huseinspahic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Huseinspahic tries a head kick but it misses.
Huseinspahic fails with the takedown. Lupu drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Lupu wants to control from the top but Huseinspahic keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Huseinspahic wants to stand and escape but Lupu is having none of it.

Lupu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Huseinspahic napping and manages to drive through into side control! Lupu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Huseinspahic keeps working. Huseinspahic takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Huseinspahic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lupu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lupu misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lupu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Huseinspahic is trying to escape and Lupu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Huseinspahic is forced to tap! Nice work there by Lupu! Very nice indeed!
