Bernardo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Vermont counters with a three punch combo that has Bernardo backing up. Bernardo nods at Vermont to acknowledge the strikes.
Bernardo shoots in and gets a takedown into Vermont's guard.
Bernardo is looking to work some ground and pound but Vermont has wrist control.
Vermont escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bernardo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bernardo postures up in Vermont's guard and throws a big left but Vermont blocks it.
