The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Prime blocks the low kick.
Prime throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Prime checks a leg kick nicely.
That kick from Prime tenderised Clayton's leg. Clayton is trying to keep his angry face on.
Clayton misses with a hook to the body
and Prime counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Ethan Clayton has been cut.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Prime.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Prime darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Clayton looks to score with a jab to the body but Prime is just out of range.
Clayton throws a low kick but Prime moves out of range easily.
Prime throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Prime blocks a head kick by Clayton.
Clayton walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
An inside leg kick from Clayton misses.
Clayton ducks under a wild hook from Prime.
Clayton tries to move into range but Prime moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
That has opened up Ethan Clayton's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Prime avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Prime moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Prime has cracked Clayton with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Prime lands another huge swinging hook and Clayton tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Clayton, before Prime can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Optimus Prime!
After winning the bout, Optimus Prime thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
