The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but o hAodha was well out of range. Poor timing from Jay.

Jay shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. o hAodha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

o hAodha looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
o hAodha is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jay trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
o hAodha lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jay!

Jay is squirming around, avoiding o hAodha's attempts to control the action.

o hAodha is working for a guillotine from mount but Jay frees his head quite easily.

o hAodha is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jay has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jay!

Jay tries to free his leg and advance position but o hAodha is retaining full guard.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Meduza, as that shot connected.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Soze crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Meduza - the referee stops the clock and Soze gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Meduza. Soze manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
