The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith stalks Diggler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Diggler's face. Diggler staggers backwards, shaken.
Smith throws a series of punches but Diggler moves out of range.

Diggler shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diggler prevents Smith from standing back up.

Diggler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Smith is just riding it out for now. Diggler eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Michaels seems to have locked his on tight now - Lannister screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Michaels, as he picks up the win!
