Eric Snapple told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Snapple connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Snapple throws a series of punches but Hitchhiker avoids them all with ease.
Snapple looks to score with a jab to the body but Hitchhiker is just out of range.
Snapple misses the jab.
Hitchhiker looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Snapple uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hitchhiker has time to react.
Hitchhiker moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Eric Snapple seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Snapple cracks Hitchhiker with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Hitchhiker is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Hitchhiker is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Snapple misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Hitchhiker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Snapple scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Hitchhiker to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Snapple away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Hitchhiker got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brooklyn Brawler.

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mr Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaston Means (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Anderson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Mr Anderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?
