Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ismail Saidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saku Katsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Saidov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz. Saku Katsumoto will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Katsumoto has hold of Saidov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Saidov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Katsumoto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Drift throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Okamoto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Drift's guard.

Shimada comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Party and Bullshit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kanbei Shimada told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rikki Tavarius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavarius comes into the arena with It Dont Come Easy blaring out of the sound system. Aldo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rough Rida kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rikki Tavarius had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.
