The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pressnell tries for a takedown but Chandler circles away easily
and Chandler counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chandler pushes Pressnell up against the cage in a clinch.
Pressnell is pressed up against the cage. Chandler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pressnell down to the mat. Pressnell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Chandler gets the takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Chandler is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
It looks like Chandler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Valodia Smirnov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Statsy stuffs the takedown attempt from Inclan. Inclan gets slowly back to his feet.
Inclan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Inclan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Statsy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Rafael Inclan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wilk is pressed up against the cage. Da Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wilk down to the mat. Wilk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Wilk breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Oooooh!!! Wilk has knocked Da Silva down with a huge combo! Wilk steps away and waves a wobbly Da Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Silva Da Silva has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wilk leaves Da Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
