Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luke Fluke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wai Ting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ting has chosen Sum 41 - Still WaiTing as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Wai Ting has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Fluke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wai Ting! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ting takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fluke lands a head kick. Ting smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Wai Ting has been cut. Fluke connects with an inside leg kick. Fluke throws a leg kick which misses Ting's front leg but catches the back leg as Ting tries to avoid it. Fluke jabs at Ting's body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ting misses with a takedown attempt and Fluke counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ting! Fluke lets Ting back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ting is rocked! Fluke plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ting swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ting face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Luke Fluke!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Smith! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Smith wants to stand but Anderson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Smith trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom. Anderson wants to get back to his feet but Smith is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Smith trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. John Smith hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Anderson with a lazy takedown attempt and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anderson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Smith working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Smith wants to pass the guard but Anderson is keeping the position. Anderson being controlled here, momentarily.
John Smith has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Anderson backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith lands a head kick. Anderson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Smith looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Anderson! Smith looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Smith tries to advance to mount but Anderson denies him. Anderson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Smith is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Anderson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Smith is standing up, even though he is in mount. Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Smith is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith is working Anderson over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Smith trying to control the action but Anderson is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anderson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Smith dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Smith closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Smith with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Anderson manages to get to full guard.
Anderson keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Smith controls the pace. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith drops down looking for an ankle pick but Anderson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Smith throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Anderson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Smith is in Anderson's guard. Anderson has a closed guard, preventing Smith from standing up. Smith is looking to pass into half guard but Anderson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Anderson is in guard. Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anderson is one step ahead there. Anderson passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Anderson. Anderson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anderson is really struggling to control Smith but he's trying to hold on to the position. Smith is trying to improve his position. Anderson controls the position from side control. Smith can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith is looking to reverse the position. An elbow from Anderson crashes against the mat.
Smith trying to control but Anderson flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Anderson trying to control. Smith is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Anderson punches the canvas rather than the man. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smith tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Anderson looking to finish with strikes here!
Anderson avoids the attempt from Smith to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Smith is looking to stall here but Anderson recovers full guard. Smith postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Smith trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith wants to get up but he can't break Anderson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Smith is looking to advance position but Anderson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Smith working to try and regain half guard.
Anderson is working for a guillotine from mount but Smith frees his head quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Smith sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Smith wants to improve his position but Anderson is controlling well.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Anderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Smith defending well though. Smith has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anderson is working away from the top position though. Anderson tries to pass to full mount but Smith defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anderson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anderson's back! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smith is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Smith gets his hands free as Anderson looks to control. Smith wants to control but Anderson manages to buck him off and is now in Smith's guard! Nice work there by Anderson!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Smith keeping full guard, as Anderson tries to pass. Sam Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anderson prevents Smith from getting back to his feet. Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Anderson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Anderson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Smith is trying to control the position but Anderson postures up. John Smith is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smith can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that's the end of the fight! John Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Laranja shoots and misses and Sabu decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Laranja's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Laranja not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Laranja looking for a triangle here. Sabu is fighting it but it looks tight! Laranja pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sabu is tapping out - this one is all over!
