The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Molester has closed the distance and engaged GopStop in a clinch.
GopStop tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Molester avoids it. GopStop gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Chester Molester has been cut. Molester fails to pull the fight into his guard.
GopStop throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Molesters head. Molester blocks an elbow strike. GopStop lands an elbow that stopped Molester in his tracks for a moment. GopStop breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
GopStop looks to land a left hand but Molester moved out of range nicely. GopStop scores with a jab to the jaw. Molester has taken the fight to the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Sveiks tries a head kick but it misses.
Euch is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Euch throws a right and a left that Van Der Sveiks avoids nicely. Van Der Sveiks wants to clinch. Van Der Sveiks has his takedown stuffed and Euch counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Van Der Sveiks throws a low kick, looking for Euch's leg but Euch calmly moves out of range. Van Der Sveiks with a lazy takedown attempt and Euch counters with a lovely shot to the body. Euch misses with a series of wild punches.

Van Der Sveiks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Euch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shawn gets a takedown into half guard. Kurki is doing well to control the position and prevent Shawn from advancing to side control. Shawn is figuring out what he wants to do next. Shawn is looking to advance position but Kurki won't allow it. Shawn is keen to just control but Kurki is a slippery customer. Shawn seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurki wants to improve his position but Shawn is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shawn trying to control the action but Kurki is working from the bottom. Kurki is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kurki has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shawn is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rob Shawn. Shawn fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kurki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kurki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shawn's waist but Shawn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kurki off to one side. Kurki tries to clinch up but Shawn circles away and keeps his distance. Kurki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. I wouldn't like to be where Shawn is right now. Shawn is looking to reverse the position. Shawn is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shawn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kurki is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Shawn will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kurki gets in close and instigates a clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Kurki. Shawn looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Shawn keeps control of Kurki as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kurki can't get the takedown.

We're going to have a standup here because Rob Shawn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Horrible takedown by Shawn or perhaps it was just good defense by Kurki which made him look bad. Shawn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kurki as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kurki moves in looking to clinch but Shawn pushes him off. Shawn swats away the attempt to clinch by Kurki. Kurki has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Shawn. That's going to take a lot out of him. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Shawn tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Shawn wants to take the fight to the mat but Kurki manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kurki prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Shawn is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kurki to keep the fight standing. Kurki manages to break the clinch.
Kurki throws a head kick that misses. Kurki tries to close the distance and clinch but Shawn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Shawn circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kurki shoots for a takedown but Shawn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kurki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shawn.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kurki is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kurki tries to clinch but Shawn moves away and Shawn counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shawn trying to control but Kurki is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Rob Shawn showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shawn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Uriah Primetime! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maqrshall shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Primetime defends it nicely. Maqrshall dodges the punch combination from Primetime.
Maqrshall swats away the attempt to clinch by Primetime. Maqrshall throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Primetime's head.
It looks like Uriah Primetime has been cut. Maqrshall checks a low kick from Primetime. Maqrshall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Primetime's waist but Primetime gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Maqrshall off to one side. Maqrshall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maqrshall tries to score a power double leg takedown but Primetime sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Maqrshall somewhat. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Primetime wants it to stay on the feet.

Uriah Primetime is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Maqrshall tries to bum rush Primetime with a series of wild strikes but Primetime uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Maqrshall tries to close the distance and clinch up but Primetime swats him away and circles back towards the center. Primetime tries to land a front kick but Maqrshall steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Maqrshall closes the distance and pushes Primetime back into the cage. Maqrshall is trying to push Primetime away but Primetime has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Primetime wants to get back to striking at distance but Maqrshall won't allow it.
Maqrshall is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Primetime gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Primetime wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maqrshall has him pressed against the cage. Maqrshall can't get the takedown.
Primetime tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Primetime looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Primetime tries to work over Maqrshall's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Primetime can't break the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Primetime's face as he tries to break the clinch. Maqrshall pulls guard. Maqrshall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Primetime is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maqrshall throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Maqrshall is breathing heavily. Primetime would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maqrshall pulls Primetime in close to his closed guard and prevents Primetime from doing any damage or advancing position. Primetime tries to stand but Maqrshall is controlling from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Primetime stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Primetime wants it to stay on the feet. Primetime lands a jab to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Maqrshall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Primetime pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Maqrshall. Primetime scores with a crisp jab that stopped Maqrshall in his tracks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Primetime scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Maqrshall is rocked! Maqrshall is holding his hands too far apart here. Primetime throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Maqrshall is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
