The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zimmer misses with a looping left. Burishkov misses with an uppercut. Zimmer saw that one coming. Zimmer throws a series of punches but Burishkov avoids them all with ease. Burishkov tries to clinch but Zimmer is having none of it. Burishkov lands a jab to the head.
Zimmer scores with a nice head shot. A clash of legs there as Zimmer blocks the low kick. Burishkov moves out of range of the strikes. Burishkov avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Zimmer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Burishkov moves into the clinch successfully.

Zimmer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Zimmer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Zimmer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Burishkov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Zimmer after a bit of a struggle.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zimmer ducks straight into an uppercut from Burishkov and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Zimmer manages to regain guard straight away.

Burishkov tries to stand but can't do so whilst Zimmer controls his leg. Zimmer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burishkov is working away from the top position though. Burishkov is keen to just control but Zimmer is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burishkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Zimmer's head.

Burishkov misses with an uppercut. Zimmer throws a jab when Burishkov was well out of range. A jab from Zimmer misses. Burishkov takes one to the chin there. Zimmer slips a jab from Burishkov. Burishkov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zimmer. Zimmer closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice uppercut lands for Burishkov. That snapped Zimmer's head back.

Hans Zimmer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Zimmer throws a lazy right hand but Burishkov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Viktor Burishkov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Burishkov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronaldo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Helenius connects with a leg kick. Ronaldo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Helenius misses with an uppercut. Ronaldo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Helenius. Helenius avoids the head kick by Ronaldo.
Ronaldo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ronaldo avoids the head kick by Helenius.
Helenius lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ronaldo looks to land a body kick but Helenius moved away. Helenius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ronaldo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Helenius throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Ronaldo turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Helenius on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ronaldo sends Helenius crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ronaldo is motioning to the referee to let Helenius up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Helenius is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ronaldo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Oh Helenius is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Helenius is breathing heavily. Ronaldo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A head kick by Ronaldo - that's a beauty! Helenius is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ronaldo can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karpinski gets a double leg takedown into Karlovsson's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Karlovsson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karpinski is one step ahead there. Karpinski looking to sit in guard and control but Karlovsson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Karpinski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Karlovsson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Karlovsson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Karlovsson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Karpinski is looking to stand up but Karlovsson isn't so interested in that idea. Karlovsson won't allow Karpinski to sweep him here. Karlovsson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Karlovsson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Karpinski wants to sweep but no luck.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vlee is defended easily by Shaffer. Vlee throws a head kick that misses. Shaffer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vlee, pushing him back against the cage. Shaffer has hold of one of Vlee's legs. Vlee is fighting the takedown attempt but Shaffer gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Shaffer lands a couple of digs. Shaffer cracks Vlee with a solid left hand. Shaffer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vlee on the ground. Shaffer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vlee's head.

Maverick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Maverick! Van Damme being controlled for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Van Damme wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Dan Maverick is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Maverick remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reuhkala will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Almeida counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Almeida uses his free foot to push down on Reuhkala's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Reuhkala. Reuhkala stops Almeida from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Reuhkala is looking to get to half guard. Reuhkala just holding on.

Reuhkala defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Almeida's arms. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reuhkala is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reuhkala is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
