4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ty Coon! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gusmero throws a shot to the body.
Coon shoots and misses
and Gusmero counters with a takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Gusmero takes a little break here. Coon wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jose Gusmero. Gusmero cracks Coon with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gusmero throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Coon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gusmero is in Coon's guard. Gusmero slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Gusmero drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gusmero jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Coon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gusmero controls the pace.

Coon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gusmero is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Coon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gusmero controls the pace. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gusmero might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gusmero looks up at the clock and then as Coon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Gusmero smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gusmero tries to move into full mount but can't pass Coon's legs. Gusmero in side control lands a decent elbow. Coon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gusmero moves into full mount! The referee warns Coon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Gusmero looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Coon covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Gusmero! Jose Gusmero spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Jones wants to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Clarkson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

 Chaowanungkarn is rocked! Chaowanungkarn is desperately trying to improve his position but Silva has a good base and remains in mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunn pushes Bjj up against the ropes in a clinch. Gunn throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bjj blocks it with crossed arms. Bjj is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bjj has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gunn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gunn trying to control the position but instead, Bjj has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gunn into the ropes. Gunn stops a takedown attempt from Bjj.
Kaice Gunn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spar Bjj. Gunn is looking to control Bjj's arms but Bjj gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gunn has his back to the ropes. Bjj avoiding damage as Gunn throws knees to the body.

Gunn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bjj is proving hard to escape from. Bjj is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bjj has a closed guard, preventing Gunn from standing up. Gunn trying to control the position from guard on top but Bjj is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gunn wants to stand but Bjj has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Gunn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bjj lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gunn!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn is bucking up trying to escape but Bjj cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Gunn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bjj on the ground.
Bjj is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gunn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gunn! Gunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bjj is keeping the position for now. Bjj looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gunn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gunn won't allow Bjj to sweep him here. Gunn has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bjj is proving hard to escape from.

Kaice Gunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Bjj or perhaps it was just good defense by Gunn which made him look bad. Gunn pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bjj seems to have recovered his senses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gunn throws a series of punches but Bjj avoids them all with ease. Gunn darts in trying to clinch
and Bjj counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gunn won't be happy with that.
Bjj has an Americana. Gunn didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bjj is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bjj hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanotto gets the takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Barlow regains half guard. Barlow wants to improve his position but Zanotto is controlling well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zanotto lands a nice short elbow. Barlow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Zanotto looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zanotto connects with a nice short shot to Barlow's temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zanotto missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Zanotto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barlow keeps working. Zanotto scoring with strikes to the body and head. Zanotto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Barlow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
 Barlow is rocked! Zanotto keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Oh Barlow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Barlow throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Barlow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Barlow wants to improve his position but Zanotto is controlling well.
Zanotto works his way into full mount! Barlow is looking to improve his position but Zanotto isn't that keen on the idea. Zanotto looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Barlow covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
